i wanna be your favorite paint brush
to use with different tints you use to color.
i wanna be your favorite poem to read when you miss me.
i wanna be your favorite book to read
until you grow old since our story
was still unpublished not until we're both dead.
i wanna be your favorite towel
you wipe off your skin after you take a bath.
i wanna be your favorite home
for you to live in when the earth pushes
and leaves you with no home to shelter.
