After crossing the gate, the large man leads Rosalie to a tree where she can sit under and lean back into. She's still blindfolded and yet they haven't tied her up, her best guess being that they were giving her a bit of trust and she isn't about to break it, so she leaves the blindfold on.

She hears the leader say he is going to contact his boss to figure out what to do, so now all Rosalie can do is wait. Though, her mind doesn't stop and starts remembering a conversation she had with Daniel years ago.

Flashback

-"So, hold on, who's in charge though? Is Atlantis a scientific or a military expedition?" - Rosalie asks, sitting across from Daniel in the cafeteria.

-"It's a scientific expedition and Dr. Elizabeth Weir is the one in charge. But they do have a military contingent and that is under Lieutenant Colonel John Sheppard's command. Well, at least it has been since the death of Colonel Sumners."

Rosalie smiles at the memory. That had been one of the few times where she and Daniel had been at the SGC at the same time for more than just a couple of hours, actually having enough time to catch up and share a meal together.

Rosalie then remembers when the first burst of information came in from Atlantis and seeing Dr. Weir on the screens in the control room. She had been so relieved to know that they were okay and that they had managed to deceive the Wraith, that she had let out an audible sigh of relief.

She is pulled away from her memories when she hears someone approaching. A large hand grabs her arm and helps her to her feet, before leading her to the DHD.

-"Can you tell us your name?" - The leader asks her.

-"Sure. My name is Rosalie Williams. I was a linguistics and technology expert back at Stargate Command under the command of General Hammond. I worked closely w/ Dr. Daniel Jackson."

-"Hold tight. Give me a few minutes to sort this out and we'll dial back in a few."

-"Copy that."

Rosalie is led back to where she was sitting and told to sit down again. She knows that woman's voice, it is so familiar and she knows that until she can place it, it's going to drive her insane.

-"Would you like some water?" - The woman from the group asks her, placing a canteen in her hand. How she got next to Rosalie without her hearing her, was beyond her.

-"Yes, thank you."

-"How is your shoulder?"

-"It's fine. I've had worse injuries, so..." - She answers, as she returns the canteen.

-"May I ask how..."

The woman doesn't get to finish her question. The gate comes to life and as soon as Rosalie hears it, she's already in defense mode, her instincts kicking in, making her crouch in a defensive position.

-"It's alright. You're safe with us. It's just our boss checking back."

-"I'm sorry. It's just... It's almost like an automatic response, you know? Whenever I hear the gate connecting, if I'm close by and I'm not the one dialing it, I always get into defense mode, so to speak."

-"Understandable."

Rosalie hears the gate shutting down again and being dialed back and, at the same time, footsteps approaching them. It doesn't take much for Rosalie to know that it's the large man, even before feeling his hand wrap itself around her arm.

She's taken back to the gate and she hears the leader tell her they are going to cross the gate again. Rosalie just nods and prays that she is finally going to see the city that has been haunting her all these years.
