It's been two days since Evan has been in Atlantis, having been off-world on a medical mission to an allied planet. As welcoming as the locals are, he has to admit that he has missed the city and the hustle of living there.

As soon as he sets foot inside the gate room, and all his men are through the gate, Evan is quickly stopped by Chuck, the gate technician, who tells him that Weir needs to see him as soon as possible.

Thinking that something might've happened while he was off-world, Evan is quick in reaching out to Weir through his earpiece. Weir tells him to meet her outside the quarantine room's gallery as soon as he can. Evan tells her he only needs to put his gear away and that he will meet her there, starting to walk towards the locker room as he talks to her.

The entire walk there, Evan can't help but wonder if something had happened to Sheppard. After all, if he's okay, it would've been him to reach out. Evan can't stop the worst case scenarios from running through his mind, since the man is not only his Commanding Officer, but also his best friend.

Making his way to the infirmary, he is surprised to see both Weir and Sheppard waiting for him outside of the viewing gallery that overlook the quarantine room.

-"Dr. Weir, Colonel." - Evan greets them both as he arrives.

-"Lorne. How was your mission?"

-"Everything went as expected, sir." - Evan can sense the uneasiness radiating from them.

-"Major, on Colonel Sheppard's last mission there was an incident that we are going to need your help to sort out."

-"Yes, Ma'am. Whatever I can do to help."

-"Lorne, while we were off-world, we encountered the Genii and, well long story short, we got overpowered and were on the verge of being executed, when we were rescued by someone."

While Sheppard is telling Evan what happened, Weir leads both men inside.

-"Major, can you tell me if you recognize this woman?" - Weir asks him, pointing to the room below.

Looking down, Evan sees a young woman walking around the room. It isn't until she stops and pulls her hair back, looking up while letting out a deep breath, that he has a good look at who she is.

-"It can't be. She shouldn't be here. How is she here?"

Evan stumbles back, shocked. Right there, in that quarantine room just bellow him, is someone he hasn't see in years. "Rosie?"
