Jennie has always been a bit conservative when it comes to showing other people her artwork, even them for a time. They only know that she wouldn’t mind if Y/N took a look because she told them as much before Y/N came to them.

Y/N is the one and only person she is ready and willing to display her art for. Every time, and without question or hesitation, she would be the first one who would get to see it. That’s how much Y/N means to her.

“Alright, then.” Lisa smiles at her, eyes crinkling at the sides as Rosé backs away from the still closed door.

Continuing down the hall, they point out the last four bedrooms. Mina is the closest to the stairs on the right, while Jennie is across from her on the left. At the end of the hallway, Jisoo's room is on the left, while Nayeon's room is on the right, directly across from it.

Then, at long last, Y/N come to the final room they have yet to show her. Anticipation lingers in her mind as she approaches the grandiose double doors, intricately carved from the finest wood she has ever seen in her entire life. She holds her breath.

Then, as if in slow motion, Rosé and Lisa take a knob in hand, pushing the doors open to reveal the grandest sight Y/N have ever seen in her entire life. She nearly fell to her knees at the beautiful library that greets her gaze, stretching on seemingly endlessly for two stories, books lining every shelf that her eyes can see.

They really weren’t kidding when they said they went all out to impress her.

Y/N takes a step forwards on shaky legs, mouth parting as her eyes shine with unshed tears, her entire being overcome by emotions at the meaning behind such a gesture. Sure, she knew there was a library somewhere in the house, and she couldn’t deny the way anticipation clawed at her mind the further she went on this tour without seeing it, but never would she have ever expected this.

It’s like having all of her fantasies come to life—the intricate details on the bookcases, the way the sunlight is filtering through the paned glass windows. Even the few seating areas she can see scattered throughout the room from her view at the top of the second floor balcony all seem to take her breath away.

For the first time in a long time, she is truly speechless, her heart and head both reeling from the emotions washing over her.

“You did all this,” Y/N blinked, voice the gentlest it’s ever been when speaking to them since she has gotten here as she choke on her emotions. “You did all of this,” her eyes trail around the room as her hands come to grip the balcony railing behind her as she leaned on it for support. “for me?”

“And we’d do it all over again in a heartbeat.” Rosé replies, seemingly just as breathless as Y/N is as she takes a cautious step towards the latter, nothing but pure sincerity shining within her gaze.

"We just want to make you happy.” Lisa nearly chokes on her own words, overcome by her own emotions for the moment as Y/N's thoughts consume both of their minds. “You mean more to us than you’ll ever know.”

Y/N didn't say anything in response, opting to turn back around to take in the vast space before her once more. But to them, even she didn't have to say anything. They already know. For, despite her better judgement, and probably her sanity at this point, she's starting to believe them.

A fact which could not make them happier than they already are in this moment with her.

“Who—" So badly does Y/N want to know which one of them was the one who came up with this idea, but the words die in her throat, almost scared of the answer she might get.
