The next day, Y/N wake up actually feeling fully rested for once. Her head no longer throbs, and she finds that there's a slight spring to her step. Seems as if Nayeon really eased her worries yesterday more than they both realized.

Getting ready for the day takes her no time at all, and she figures she'll spend it doing something exciting. Since they have another council in a few days, perhaps she can convince one of them to take her out of the house for a little bit, even if it's just for an hour or so.

An idea strikes her then. Perhaps she'll ask Jennie to take her out to see Brego (The horse) once more, considering she hasn't seen her horse in a little while. Besides, they'd be together the whole time, so it's not like Miyeon could just show up out of the blue and attack her.

Which is exactly how Y/N finds herself brushing up against that all too familiar black string in the early hours of the afternoon.

'Is everything alright, hon?' Always, Y/N's comfort and wellbeing are the first things on Jennie's mind.

'Of course,' Y/N smiled, quick to reassure Jennie. 'I was just wondering where you were.'

'Oh.' The genuine surprise Y/N can hear in Jennie's voice has her chuckling, and she knows that it's pleasant on Jennie's part, nonetheless. She never really inquired about where any of them are in the house before, simply wandering around until she spotted one of them, or they found her.

'I'm in my art room, hon. You're more than welcome to come and join me, if you'd like.' Jennie offered.

Y/N's breath hitches as her heart positively flutters in her chest. She has been meaning to ask Jennie to show her the art room as of late, but she just hasn't found a way to bring it up. She never wanted to seem pushy or entitled about entering Jennie's own space, which is why it makes her so unbelievably happy now that the girl's inviting her into her studio.

'I'll be right there.' Y/N smiled faintly, already thinking to herself how this is a much better way to spend her day than she originally had planned. Perhaps if there's time, she can still do both. It is quite early in the afternoon, after all.

Keeping her mind open to Jennie, she begins to make her way towards their side of the house and upstairs to her art room. Once outside the door, she raises her hand to knock, only for Jennie to suddenly be standing before her in the open archway.

A soft smile rests on Jennie's face as she giggles at Y/N's surprised expression. "I heard you coming," her voice is low, a gentle rumble as she steps aside for the moment. "Please, come in."

Jennie's heart positively warms as she sees Y/N smiled faintly at her, slowly crossing the threshold into the room.

The whole while Y/N had been walking over here, Jennie could hear the excitement lingering in Y/N's thoughts at her showing her her art. A fact of which could not have made her giddier, or any more nervous than she already is. Sure, she is more than willing to show Y/N anything and everything of her art if she asks, but there will always be that lingering uncertainty within herself surrounding how Y/N may react.

Which is why Y/N's eagerness is like a breath of fresh air to her.

Stepping into the room, Y/N is careful not to let her gaze linger for too long, except to stare at her feet, she does not want to simply barge in and assume she can look at whatever she'd like. Besides, she'd rather have Jennie show her the parts of herself that the girl's comfortable with.
