Part 47

A yawn escapes Y/N's lips as she slowly trudges her way down the hallway the very next day. She can hear the sounds of her slippers sliding against the floor with each step she takes, bringing her hands up to rub the sleep from her eyes.

Luckily, Y/N managed to sleep much better last night. An ease settling over her mind enough so that she didn't need to ask any one of them to influence her dreams. She also opted to sleep alone for the evening, stretching out on her bed as she relaxed into her covers.

Looks like that conversation yesterday really did help.

Walking into the kitchen, Y/N freezes right in her tracks.

She blink. Once. Twice. Three times, before a lazy grin is tugging onto her features as she sees three girls positioned around the counter. All three sporting new hairstyles.

"Well, good morning to me," Y/N hums, taking in their appearances as they turn to look at her.

Both Jisoo and Rosé have returned to heads full of black hair. Where Rosé's hair is in updo, while she leaves thin strands of hair on both sides, Jisoo has opted to give herself a double braids.

Even Irene's purple hair suits her quite well, and Y/N cannot help but to nod to herself in approval of their choices.

"We take it you like the change?" Jisoo chuckles, a shiver caressing her spine as she feels the tip of Y/N's finger ghosting along the strands of her braid.

"Oh, I more than like it," Y/N breathes, almost as if caught in a trance as Jisoo turns her wide eyed gaze towards her. "I love it."

Three low rumbles of contentment reach Y/N's ears, smiles pulling onto all of their faces.

"Good," A voice draws Y/N's attention to the open entranceway of the kitchen. "We're glad."

Nothing could have prepared Y/N for the change in Mina's appearance though. What once were long blonde hair, is now black bob.

"Oh, wow," Y/N cannot help the gasp that escapes her, forgetting all about Jisoo for a moment to meet Mina halfway in order to adore the girl.

Y/N feels as if she's caught in a daze, especially when both Jennie and Lisa walk in sporting newly dyed hair. Jennie's hair is styled with black with blonde money piece gighlights, while Lisa's hair is styled up with her Copper Layers with Bangs.

Y/N's lips part in awe, a small breath escaping her as she takes them all in. Though, the final straw for her is when both Sana and Nayeon both appear before her very eyes.

Sana's long orange hair has now become blonde. Nayeon, on the other hand, has a new short light brown hair.

Y/N places a hand over her heart, feeling it skip a beat beneath her fingers as she attempts to balance herself on the counter.

"Warn me next time, fucking hell," Y/N purposely stare at the floor with wide eyes as she leans heavily onto the one arm she has supporting herself on the counter. "Can't wait to tell my mom I have eight pretty as fuck girls trying to kill me all at once by simultaneously changing their hairstyles on me."

Eight chuckles sound around the room, the hint of a pleased growl on each of their lips as they look towards Y/N.

Jisoo even goes so far as to place her hand over Y/N's own still resting on the counter, offering Y/N a touch of support as she attempts to wrap her head around their new hairstyles for the moment.
