Gabbie's POV

After I received that warm hug from Dad, he took me to the dining hall of his castle to eat. We spent the entire time eating and connecting because we hadn't seen each other in a while. When I informed him I was gay, I was even more nervous, but all he did was smile and say he knew and had no issues with it.

My dad also taught me everything there is to know about my powers and the realm of myth. He spent hours training me, which worried me since I had classes the following day. However, he informed me that when I teleported to the underworld, time in the mortal realm was stopped-as if he could read my thoughts.

Although training was physically demanding, I had a great time because I was with my dad.

I still find it hard to believe everything that is going on right now. My father, my power, and my fate-all of those things continue to cause mental confusion. But even though I've only spent a few hours getting to know my new identity, I've committed, and I'm actually enjoying myself.

Dad told me that I had to return to the mortal realms because he had to take urgent action after hours of training. I may come to the underworld at any time to train, he said. After bidding Cerberus farewell, I took a pearl from Aunt Persephone's collection in their living space and hurled it to the ground to return to the mortal realm.

When I returned, I quickly flicked my fingers to turn back time and said goodbye to Jake, who was reading a book.

"Leaving so soon?" He asked.

"Oo eh. May practicals pa kasi kami bukas sa Surg kaya need ko mag review pa. May kailangan din daw gawin si Dad kaya pinabalik niya na ko." I explained while I was searching my bag for my car keys and wallet.

"How was it?" questioned Jake.

"It was short, but it was fun. Sobrang salamat." I said while closing my bag after finding my keys and wallet.

"No worries. It's a part of my fate to bring all of you back to your parents. Besides, you needed that boost of morale." he replied.

"Anyway, in addition to your training with your father, we will train together every day to strengthen our teamwork. Also, please let me know if you locate any other demigods; you know we still need to find them ASAP. When you see one, your instincts will inform you. Drive carefully on the way home." he continued.

He then smiled at me and bid me goodbye.

I did well in my schoolwork and kept up my training with Dad and Jake for three days in a row. The whole time, I was actually delighted. Jake taught me everything-from my abilities to our friendship, communication, and ultimately trust. Dad was more focused on developing my abilities, and he was making up for wasted time spent with his son.

I learned a lot about Dad in the three days I spent with him. His image is frequently bad in literature. He's always been characterized as heartless, infatuated, and perpetually furious. However, he is actually understanding, compassionate, and loving. However, since he is the God of Darkness, it still frightens me to watch him doing his role as the king of the underworld.

I've been happy in all I've done since realizing who I am now. However, I overlooked a crucial aspect of my life...

I eagerly drove back home after training with Dad on the third day because Mommy was returning from her medical mission in Sulu today. I hurried to get my car parked and headed inside. I was as happy to see my mother like a child. As soon as I walked into our house, I called for her, but nobody answered.
