Chapter XVIII | The Hydra

Third Person's POV

Upon hearing Kai's cue to attack, the demigods dispersed and started to work in containing the Hydra. Aliyah tried to find her way malapit sa kung nasaan ang media at mga tanke ng militar. She used her telepathic abilities to connect sa minds ng mga tao sa media at sa militar. Medyo nahirapan siya to connect with all of them dahil isang beses pa lamang niyang nagagawang mag control ng madaming utak na sabay-sabay.

Halos mapa-upo si Aliyah dahil habang mas dumadami ang utak na nasasagap niya, dumadami din ang thoughts na naririnig niya sa utak niya. Kumpara sa dati, mas naging maliwanag ang kulay lilang mga mata ni Aliyah dahil sa nilalabas niyang kapangyarihan.

When Aliyah felt na she's connected with everyone na, she made tried to make everyone sleep. Aliyah succeeded pero halos mawalan siya ng malay dahil sa dami ng kapangyarihan na inilabas niya.

Dahan-dahan siyang nag hanap ng pwedeng maupuan at nag pahinga saglit. She tried to look at what's happening sa sea pero silhouettes lang ng hydra ang nakikita niya at mga liwanag ng kidlat na malamang ay mula kay Keith. Nang maramdaman ni Aliyah na medyo kaya na niya ay lumipad na siya at tumulong sa mga kasamahan.

Habang lumilipad, Aliyah used her telekinesis to make every single streetlight on the seaside fly with her. When she arrived near the Hydra, she used the street lights to stab it. The Hydra released a loud roar pero nagulat lang si Aliyah when the poles of the streetlights started to melt habang nakasaksak sa Hydra.

"Aliyah, sorry pero please dahan-dahan sa properties. Remember, walang time stop, the streetlights won't restore themselves after this." Kai reminded Aliyah.

Napa-iling si Aliyah nang maalala na wala na nga pa lang time stop. Huminga na lang siya ng malalim and continued to fight.

Patakbo na sana si Josh nang marealize niya na ang kapangyarihan niya ay hindi akma para sa mga laban sa dagat. Josh doubted himself for a bit dahil wala na nga siyang makita, wala pa siyang maitutulong.

"Son, you look ugly when you frown. It's a waste of your good looks if you just stand there and be sad. You can help them. Your speed enables you to walk in any type of matter, just keep on running." The voice of Hermes said in Josh's mind.

Josh doubted his dad's advice but he still followed it. He kept on running back and forth sa seaside until he slowly started to levitate and ran on the air. Josh smiled when he realized that he can really run sa kahit anong state ng matter.

Josh got his adrenaline back and ran towards the Hydra's silhouette. Josh ran so fast on top of the water. Bago pa man umabot sa Hydra, he made multiple duplicates of him and attacked the Hydra's tail using the impact and force created by the speed. However, his attack didn't do any damage to the Hydra. Pero kahit ganon, hindi sumuko si Josh and still continued to fight.

Since Rilee didn't have the ability to fly, she made a big boulder and rode it. She just manipulated it to make it fly. Dahan-dahan lumapit si Rilee sa Hydra kahit di niya ito masyado maaninag. When she saw one of the Hydra's heads, she summoned multiple boulders from the seabed and used it to attack the Hydra.

Naiwasan ng Hydra lahat ng atake ni Rilee at mabilis na inilapit kay Rilee ang isa sa mga ulo nito. Rilee was alert enough and summoned a mangrove and used it to strangle the Hydra's head. Pero kahit nakulong ito ni Rilee, the Hydra shot it's poisonous blood towards Rilee. Tumagos lang ito kay Rilee because of her Intagibility but Rilee saw that the blood on the floor slowly melted her boulder.

"Guys! It shoots poisonous blood. Mag-ingat kayo." Rilee notified the others.

The Hydra shot another blood towards Rilee and mabilis naman itong naiwasan ni Rilee. Lumapit ng konti si Rilee and summoned a sequoia branch from her hand and made it into a sword. Rilee used her sword to cut the Hydra's head, pero nang mahiwa niya ito nalaglag lang sa dagat ang lumang ulo and it regenerated 2 new heads and immediately attacked Rilee.
