"Where have you been?" Exclaimed my nan as she put down the yellow and white striped deckchair she had previously been folding up- everyone was packing away for the day.

"We went for a walk," I said, gesturing behind me to Luke. "I did say I was going."

My nan glanced behind me, glaring a Luke, then back to me. It then came to my realisation what she was thinking; after all, Luke was shirtless and I stood wearing his top.

Without another word, she continued to pack up the remainder deckchairs and helped my granddad put them back in the beach hut ready for the next day.

_____________

"Em, you ready to go?" My dad asked, throwing our beach bag over his shoulder.

"Uh, yeah. One sec!"

"Okay, we'll start walking and meet you at the bus stop if you want?" He said, to which I nodded.

"Are you off then?" Luke said as my parents began to walk off.

"Mhm," I hummed, looking up at the tall giant. "Thanks for today..." I smiled.

"It was fun." He grinned back.

"I guess I'll, um... See you tomorrow?" I asked, taking my lower lip between my teeth.

"Yeah." He smiled. "See ya tomorrow."

I stuck my tongue out at him as I began to back away and catch up with my parents.

"Oh- Emilia!"

"Huh?" I asked, spinning around.

"Have you got your phone on you?.. I'll uh, I can give you my number, if you want?"

I smiled, unlocking my phone and handing it to him as I watched him save himself into the contacts.

"There ya go." He beamed.

"Thanks." I smiled sweetly as he handed me back the phone, hoping he couldn't see the pink of my blushed cheeks.

"Pick up two!" James announced, laying down the playing card on the table.

"Pick up four!" Tom laid another.

"Damnit guys! How comes you always beat me." I frowned, picking up yet another four extra cards from the pile.

"We aren't even that good, you're just really crap!" Tom sniggered.

"Oh fuck off." I playfully rolled my eyes. "At least I don't cheat!" I stuck my tongue out at my two cousins.

It was about half eleven at night and the three of us were playing card games around the dining table in their caravan. As everyone else had gone to bed, we were meant to be keeping the noise down.

"So, what did you guys do today?" I questioned, sorting through my pathetically hefty deck of cards- there was no chance of me winning now.

"Oh, we went cliff jumping at the ledge just off the south bay!" Tom said.

"Sounds dangerous," I giggled.

"It was, well, at some points..." He chuckled.

"Yeah, like when I had to wait for a wave to hoist me back onto the rocks just to get out!" James added.

"It was fun though."

"Fun, if you like risking your life," I scoffed. "You two can't go a day without getting some sort of adrenaline rush, I swear."
