Chapter 21

"I am still in shock about earlier.." Azure said as the two of us sat crossed legged on my bed, eating the sweets we had previously bought at the caravan site's shop. I didn't actually know where anyone was... I think my mother was at the sites launderettes doing some washing. As for my brother and dad, well I think they were off playing football at the park, either that or round the other caravan.

"I know right, we did so well to get those results,"

"No you idiot," she laughed, "Luke kissing you!"

"Oh," I chuckled awkwardly, "y-yeah."

"Well that's one way to tell your family!" She laughed, causing me to as well.

You had to laugh at the scenario.

"I guess," I exhaled. "No doubt i'm gunna get 'the talk' tonight" I put air quotations around the word 'talk'.

"From your dad?" She laughed.

"From my cousins." I deadpanned, causing Azure to giggle.

"They are hella protective over you"

"Mhm."

"So what's the plan tomorrow?" She asked, popping another pink jelly bean in her mouth. "Ash said the boys were busy.. going diving or something?"

"Yeah, they're going with Tom and James. They all go every year, it's like an hours drive or so from here"

"Oh cool," She took another jelly bean before handing me the packet. "What are we gunna do then?"

I took the sweets from her before answering, "well, as we're not seeing the boys, we could go into Berrisdown for the day... Or, I don't know, go on the pier? It's up to you"

"I'd love to go to Berrisdown!"

"Berrisdown it is then. There's so many shops there,"

"Well if we leave early enough, we could beat the crowds?"

"Sure," I replied.

"Hey" called a familiar voice from outside my bedroom door. "You girls in there?"

"Come in!" I yelled, soon to be greeted by James.

"Jelly beans!" He yelled, dipping his hand into the packet I was holding and pouring a handful out.

"You are such a kid. You're meant to be the oldest one!" I laughed.

"Whatever," he scoffed. "Do you guys wanna play cards?"

"Sure," smiled Azure.

"Okay, oh and bring the sweets!"

"Yes, James" I groaned, rolling my eyes at the nineteen-almost twenty- year old boy.

Sat round the dining room table in the other caravan, everyone else was watching television, me, Azure, James, Tom and my uncle were all in an intense game of cards. I hated playing with my uncle. He always seemed to win and I was convinced he cheated- not to mention he was ever so competitive (much like everyone else in my family).
I had just took my turn and quickly after picked up my phone where I had received a new text message.  

"Is that Luke?" said Tom.

"No." I lied. It was.

"I bet it is" laughed James, laying his card down.

"Luke and Emilia.. sitting in a tree..." My uncle sing-songed in a high pitched and aggravating manner, causing Azure to giggle.

"Oh my god," I let out a loud groan. "You guys are so annoying."
