"Are you sure you want me to do this?" Michael asked, dipping the brush into the pot of violet coloured hair dye.
"Positive," I said, fiddling with my thumbs. With that response, he took an inch strand of hair and began brushing on the dye.
"There's no going back now!" He grinned.
Luke and Ashton were out grocery shopping, leaving me and George with the rest of their mates at the apartment. I hadn't yet seen Luke since the events of the night prior as they had already left by the time I'd arrived. However, it was safe to say I was beyond anxious to see him again.
Every time my mind wondered back to the events that occurred the previous night we were together, I seemed to become scarce of breath. I could still vividly feel the lingering trace of where his lips were the last time they left mine and the way they moulded together in such a tender kiss. Just the thought of his plump lips moving in motion with mine made me feel nauseas all over again.
I just hoped he felt the same way.
"Em?" Michael snapped me from my thoughts. "How high up do you want the purple to go?" he asked, motioning with his hands to just below my shoulder.
"A tiny bit higher," I said. He moved his hand up slightly so it was just above my shoulders.
"Perfect." I smiled.

"Ready to head back?" asked Ashton, picking up some of the many shopping bags we'd accumulated on the food shop.
"Yeah," I said, helping and picking up the rest.
We made our way to the car where we threw them into the boot and began to drive back. I nervously tapped the wheel with my finger as we sat waiting at the traffic lights, anticipating what I'd say to Emilia when we arrived.
Needless to say I was incredibly anxious to see her after the kiss last night, anxious that she might not feel the same way.
Last night, I couldn't resist any longer.
I don't know what came over myself. She seemed even more beautiful than ever in the soft glow of moonlight and in that pretty white dress and the way her hair effortlessly cascaded down her side- not to mention how adorable she looked snuggled up in my hoodie. I couldn't resist any longer, and so, I did something I'd been meaning to do for several years now.
I kissed her.
And she kissed me back. We had shared an intimate experience together and, although I had no idea what any of this meant or even if she felt the same way, I regretted absolutely nothing.
There was one thing I was certain of, however, and that was that I wanted to kiss her again. And again. It felt so right to have her against me, to be able to hold her in my arms and connect our lips together- a feeling I could never get tired of.
I just hoped she felt the same way- that's what feared me the most.
"You alright, mate?" Ashton asked from the seat next to me.
I glanced over at him before focusing back in front to the road. I sighed, "Yeah, I'm fine."
"You look kinda out of it?" he added. "What's up?"
Looking at my hands, which were firmly gripping the steering wheel, I took a deep breath.
"I, uh, I kissed Emilia."
