SPLASH!

The second the cool water hit my hot, baking skin it was as if my whole body was revitalised and awoken.

"Emilia!" Azure groaned from on the pedalo. "You got me all wet!"

"Sorry!" I apologised from in the water, though I couldn't actually see her as we were blocked by the sides of the boat. I heard her mumble an "it's okay" before talking to Ashton about something or other, paying no attention to us.

I swam over to Luke who rested his arms on the ladder behind the pedalo. In the water, the bright blue of his eyes were shimmering and a sweet smile was held upon his pink lips.

"Better now?" I asked him, chuckling at how hot and bothered he was only moments before.

"Much." He grinned. "But I have an idea how to make it even better..." Pulling on my wrist gently, he inched me closer to him so that we were face to face.

"Luke..." I warned. But before I could say anything else he had his face nuzzled into the crook of my neck where his lips ghosted over the exposed skin, leaving a trail of a lingering sensation in their tracks.

"Luke, they might see us..." I whispered into his ear as his head was bowed down, deeply inhaling before releasing a contented sigh. Truthfully, I didn't want him to stop.

"Mhmmm..." he hummed in response, not really paying attention. His vocals were vibrating on my neck, sending shivers throughout my body and causing a knot in my stomach to form.

"Luke."

He finally picked his head up and stopped his assault on my neck as he looked at me with a lazy grin and spoke. "Kiss me."

"Luke, the others are literally on the other side of the boat..."

"Then kiss me underwater." He grinned widely.

"Lu-"

He began to swim away from our spot on the ladder, pulling on my wrist, insisting me to do so too.

I sighed. "Only you, Hemmings." I obliged to his actions with a laugh and a shake of my head.

"I'll meet you down there." He winked, causing me to giggle. He was the biggest goofball I'd ever met. Taking a deep breath in, he dived down and I followed suit. Once emerged in the turquoise world, I hesitantly opened my eyes under the water and swam down to the sea bed.

There was something I always found comforting in the silence under the ocean; perhaps it was something to do with how the noises of everyday life hustle and bustle seemed to stop for a moment- as if time was paused. It really was another world of it's own.

Reaching the bottom, Luke intertwined our fingers and tugged me closer. Wasting no time in connecting our lips, his mouth moved sloppily against mine as I brought my arms up and wrapped them loosely around his neck, fighting the resistance of the water and trying to bring him even closer to me. His arms did the same but around my bare waist as we continued to kiss, clinging on to one another.

However, our intimate actions were soon ended- too soon- as the two of us became increasingly desperate for air. Finally pulling away, a beaming smile broke on our faces resulting in bubbles escaping our mouths and noses. Quickly, we swam back to the surface where I gulped for the air my lungs were so desperately short of before giggling faintly at how bizarre the whole scenario was.

"Happy now?" I grinned, still slightly out of breath.

"Yup," he said, popping the 'P' with an adoring smile forming where my lips had been planted only seconds before.
