Today was Saturday, which meant we'd been here for exactly one week. It also meant that today was the day Luke's band mates turned up; Luke had insisted that I go round in the afternoon to meet them all. I admit, I was slightly nervous to meet them. I knew they meant a lot to Luke and so I just hoped that they could like me too.
My arm reached out of bed and grabbed my phone which lit up the room that was still dark as a result of me not having yet opened the curtains to allow the glorious sun in.

I rubbed at my tired eyes, chuckling to myself at the use of the pet name he had saved for his number. When we were little, I used to always call him "Lukeypoo". I guess it just came a bit of a habit. However, Luke would always complain that he didn't like it as we got a bit older, though deep down, I knew that he secretly loved it. I hadn't called him that in ages and my heart fluttered slightly at the fact he had remembered my old nickname for him.
