Chapter 22

The sound of All Time Low's 'The Reckless And The Brave' woke me instantly and I sat up rubbing at my eyes as a rather loud yawn escaped my mouth. I really should've gone to bed earlier. It was 7 AM, so I had two hours till they picked me up.

"Morning," I muttered to Azure as I made my way into the living room area where she was sitting up in her sofa bed.

"Morning," she smiled.

"You're up early?" My tone more questioning than matter-of-fact. "What're you doing?"

"Texting." She replied.

I raised an eyebrow at her, "Texting who..?"

"Um, Ash.." she blushed. "...What?!" She asked looking at me.

"Nothing," I giggled, turning around and flicking the kettle on.

"What times your date?"

"Um, I'm meeting him at 11:30 AM, we're gunna go out for the day then for a meal later on.."

"Awwww," I cooed. "Have fun! Are you sure you're okay about me leaving you tonight?"

"It's fine," she laughed dryly, "besides, it's only your parents- plus I may not be home till late anyway!"

"Okay" I smiled, pouring the hot water into my mug.

"You better get ready!" said Azure, looking at the time on her phone. "You have less than two hours!"

"I know, I'll go get in the shower- but coffee first."

"You can come in now!" I called out to Azure from my bedroom. "Do I look okay?" I asked, analysing my outfit in the mirror as she walked through the door.

"Emilia! You look beautiful!" She exclaimed, eyeing me up and down. I wore the white lace dress we had purchased the day before with a pair of cute brown high-heeled sandals, my red painted toes visible, matching with my red nails. My hair was it's natural wavy self, flipped over to one side and my makeup was a classic plain cat-eye accompanied with bright red lips.  I must admit, I did feel pretty in it.

"Are you sure it's not too much?" I questioned.

"It's perfect, Em!" she smirked, "I can't wait to see Luke's face when he sees you." Her words made me blush a little as I continued to pack the last few bits into my night bag before making our way to the living room.

"Oh, Emilia!" gasped my mum as we walked in, "You look ever so pretty."

"Thanks.." I giggled, fiddling with my fingers.

"Are you all packed?" she questioned.

"Pretty much, yeah. They'll be here soon"

"Knock, knock!" called Tom from outside the caravan.

"Come in" I laughed, as the two boys made their way up the steps into our caravan.

"Holy crap, Em," said James.

"What?" I giggled.

"You look.. different!"

"Good different or bad different..?" I bit my lip slightly as everyone's eyes were on me.

"Good!" he assured me. "It makes a change from your usual black outfits" he chuckled. "-but seriously though, you look really nice"

"Cheers," I giggled lightly. A sudden and abrupt bleep alerted me as I looked down at my phone,
