NO ONE'S POV

As Hanni, Hyein, and Danielle made their way through the bustling hallways of Seoul National University.

The air was filled with buzz of excitement. They were undeniably popular, not just for their cheerleading skills but also for their natural beauty that turned heads wherever they went. Their reputation as the university's most popular cheerleaders was well-deserved.

Passersby couldn't help but steal glances and exchange complement whispers as the trio made their way through the sea of students. Hanni, with her infectious smile, led the way, her long, flowing hair catching the light. Hyein and Danielle, equally stunning, followed closely behind her, each with their unique charm that contributed to their popularity.

The trio had been inseparable since their freshman year, bonding over their shared love for cheerleading and their adventurous spirits.

As they approached a corner, Karina, their cheer captain, casually greeted up to them with her signature sassy attitude. "Hey, you three," she said, tossing her hair with a playful flick. "Don't forget, we've got practice later, and you better be on time! We've got a reputation to uphold."

Hyein rolled her eyes in mock annoyance, but there was a hint of excitement in her voice as she replied, "Of course, Karina, we'll be there. Wouldn't miss it for the world."

Isa, another senior cheerleader and a close friend, joined the group's conversation, giving them a warm smile. "Yeah, don't be late, you guys," she said, her voice tinged with affection. "We've got some amazing routines to work on."

"Don't be late, Dani, Hanni. And also, please try not to make a grand entrance this time." Karina said smirking giving Hanni a special mention. There's a  mischievous glint in her eyes. She knows Danielle would be late. She hated how Hanni feels like she's on top of them just because she's the most popular and skilled cheerleader in their University.

Karina was the most popular and the most skilled before not until freshman Hanni joined the cheerleading squad last year, that's why Karina felt left out and her supposedly popular position was replaced by Hanni. She can't help but feel jealous and hate Hanni. She should be on top and the most popular considering she's the cheer captain of their squad.

Hanni chuckled. "I'll do my best, Karina, but you know how I love to make an entrance."

Karina playfully rolled her eyes. "Oh, we know, and Danielle. Just don't make us start without you."

"I won't be Late!" She said balling her fist smiling

Isa, always the calm and collected one, said "We'll see you all at lunch, right?". She gives a warm smile to her friends.

Hanni nodded, and Danielle said, "Absolutely! We'll grab lunch together. Don't forget us, seniors!"

"Okay, Danielle!" Isa said as she pokes Danielle's cheeks. "We better go now. We still have class to attend to. Bye guys!" she added

With cheerful goodbyes, Karina and Isa departed, leaving Danielle, Hyein, and Hanni to continue their walk to their respective classes. The three of them were not only cheerleading buddies but also classmates, all sophomores at the prestigious university.

As they turned a corner, Hyein looked at Hanni and Danielle and said, "We're lucky to have a strict Cheer captain but I just don't like how she approaches us like we're not in the same squad. Like she sees us as her competitor."

Danielle and Hanni laughs, " Just get used to it Hyein. We all know she has these hard feelings towards Hanni". Danielle said laughing "She even gave Hanni a special mention"

Hanni nodded in agreement. "She didn't like the switching positions I unintentionally did and besides this is her last year right?" She asked then laughs. The two latter beside her nodded.

"I just hope she doesn't pass her position to our co-captain, Wonyoung. I don't think she deserves it because she's been mostly absent and late in our practices." Danielle said then sighs. "I think it's better if she gave it to you, Hanni. You're skilled and also you took the co-captain responsibilities."

"I hope so." Hanni said smiling as she wrapped her arm around her two friends. Hanni won't deny that she wanted to be the next Cheer captain. She thinks she's the most qualified one out of all her 11-member squad. "Let's think about that sometime. Let's just excel first, both in class and on our cheerleading practice later." She added. The three of them smiles as they finally reached their room.

And with that, the three friends entered their classroom, they took their seats, ready to dive into the day's lessons. The professor began his lecture about customer communications and the trio diligently took notes, asked questions, and participated in discussions. They were committed to their academic pursuits, just as they were dedicated to their cheerleading practice.

As the morning lectures drew to a close, thoughts of the upcoming lunch break brought smiles to Hanni's face. She's already starving since she skipped breakfast because she woke up late.

An hour has passed, With their backpacks securely fastened, Hanni, Hyein, and Danielle made their way to the cafeteria.

From afar, they say saw Isa waving at them. On the long cafeteria table, they can see their other fellow squad; Rei, Sullyoon, Kyujin, Chaewon, and of course their cheer captain, Karina.

They walked near them and sat on the available seat.

"Hey guys!" Hyein greeted happily. Hanni and Danielle smiled. Their fellow members greeted them back. Hanni sat beside Karina.

"Hi, Cap!" Hanni said smiling and Karina smiled back. " Wonyoung's not here?"

Karina nodded, "Like always." Karina said then scoffed. The she took a bite of her lunch. "Where's your lunch?"

"I wasn't able to pack my lunch today. I'll have to buy something." Hanni said as she stands up and then left her bag on their table. She only took her phone and wallet along with her.

Hanni had just finished paying for her lunch at the cafeteria cashier. Balancing her tray with a sandwich and a steaming cup of coffee, she walked through the crowded tables, her mind preoccupied with thoughts of her upcoming reading and communication subject as their professor announced that they'll be having a long quiz later.

As she navigated the sea of people, her foot caught on something unseen, causing her to stumble. In an instant, the contents of her cup soared through the air, landing with a dramatic splatter on the clothes of a woman seated nearby. A gasp of surprise rippled through the onlookers.

Hanni's face flushed with embarrassment, and she quickly muttered an apologetic "I'm so sorry" to the stranger. The woman, her face hidden beneath the brim of a black cap adorned with white initials that read 'MJ', didn't react. She kept her head low, her features shrouded in shadow as Hanni frantically reached for her handkerchief to wipe at the coffee stains on the stranger's shirt.

Feeling mortified, Hanni said, "I can pay for the dry cleaning or help you clean this up. Please, let me make it right." But the stranger's response was unexpected.

In a whispery voice, "Stop." She said coldly

Hanni paused, her concern deepening. "Are you sure? I really want to make amends."

But the stranger simply rose from her seat without a word and began to walk away. Hanni watched in confusion as the woman vanished into the busy cafeteria, leaving her with the remnants of her coffee-stained shirt and a feeling of bewilderment.

She couldn't help but wonder about the mysterious stranger in the 'MJ' cap, who had chosen to silently bear the mishap rather than accept Hanni's offer to make things right.

'she must be in pain, my coffee is freakin hot' Hanni thought as worry is visible in her face. As she finished cleaning up the mess she made. Hanni realized that sometimes, actions spoke louder than words, and in that moment, the stranger's silence had left an impression on her.
