NO ONE'S POV
With the trio now settled on Hanni's bed, the atmosphere was ripe for girl talk. Hanni, her eyes gleaming with a sense of excitement and apprehension, took a deep breath and began to unveil the tea that had been itching to tell her friends.
"So, there's something I need to tell you both," Hanni started, her voice a mix of determination and uncertainty. "It's about a dare Karina gave me."
Danielle and Hyein exchanged curious glances,
their interest increased. Danielle was the first to speak up, "A dare? What kind of dare, Han?"
Hanni leaned in closer, her tone hushed, "Karina dared me to make Minji fall for me and distract her from her academics. It's all part of a plan to secure her position as valedictorian. Minji is Karina's valedictorian title opponent."
Hyein's eyes widened with amazement. "Wow, Han, that's quite the challenge! But what will you get in return?"
" I'll be the cheer captain. That's the only price I'll be getting" Hanni said smiling faintly.
Danielle sighed, "Han, you do realize that the dare needs a lot of effort." Danielle said concerned for her friend. "Did you agree to it?" She asked
Hanni sighed and shook her head, her concern evident. "I know it's a lot of work and I haven't officially agreed yet. I wanted to talk to you both about it first, to get your opinions."
Hyein chimed in, her expression thoughtful, "I can't even imagine Wony being our cheer captain. She doesn't have the same passion and dedication as you do, Han."
Both Hyein and Danielle nodded in agreement. Wonyoung as the cheer captain was a prospect that didn't sit well with any of them.
Hyein, always the practical one, added, "But it's a big risk, Hanni. We're talking about Minji here, one of the top students. It won't be easy to distract her from academics."
Hanni smiled appreciatively at her friends' insights. "I know it won't be easy, but I love our squad, and I want to be the cheer captain. So, I'm considering taking the dare."
Danielle and Hyein felt touched by Hanni's effort and love, Danielle wrapped her arm around Hanni's shoulder, "Aww.. that's why I love you, Hanni." She said as she tightened her hug
Hanni's willingness to do whatever it took for their squad's success was met with admiration and support from Hyein and Danielle
Danielle was the first to inquire about Yeonjun's knowledge of the dare, " Oh wait! What about Yeonjun? Does he know" Danielle asked then Hanni nodded with a smile of approval.
"Yes, Yeonjun knows about the dare," Hanni confirmed with a bright smile. "And, guess what? He agreed to it! He's also my boyfriend now!"
Danielle and Hyein couldn't contain their
excitement. Squeals of delight filled the room as they congratulated Hanni on her newfound relationship. Hyein couldn't resist pulling Hanni into a tight hug, and Danielle eagerly followed the latterHyein, beaming with happiness for her friend, chimed in, "We're so thrilled for you, Hanni. Yeonjun seems like an understanding and supportive boyfriend."
Hanni, her heart warmed by her friends enthusiasm, agreed wholeheartedly. "I'm really lucky to have Yeonjun. He's incredibly understanding."
With the news of her relationship shared, Hanni moved on to reveal another secret-their relationship would remain a secret until the completion of the dare.
"Well that's understandable. I don't think Minji will entertain someone who is in a relationship" Danielle said while Hyein nodded in agreement
"She ain't risking her academics to be a mistress" Hyein added then they laugh. Something came out of Hyein's mind and her curiosity increases.
"Speaking of the dare, Hanni, how do you plan to approach Minji?"
Hanni leaned back, deep in thought. "Well," she began, "I was thinking of starting with a conversation about the coffee incident. Maybe I can ask for her number and start texting her casually."
Danielle, always practical and insightful, added her own suggestion. "You should also consider asking for her help with academics. Minji is incredibly smart, and it might be a way to get closer to her."
Hyein enthusiastically agreed with Danielle's idea. "That's a great plan! Bonding over academics could be a natural way to build a connection."
Hanni couldn't help but feel grateful for her friends' support and their helpful suggestions. She nodded appreciatively.
"You're both right. I'll definitely take your advice into consideration. Thank you for always being there for me."
"No problem, Sis! That's the least we can do to help you" Danielle said then chuckled
The night continued with laughter, shared dreams, and the comfort of knowing that their friendship was an unbreakable bond. As Hanni prepared for the challenges ahead, she knew she had her closest friends by her side. Suddenly they heard a knock on the door. When it swung open, Hanni's mother is seen with her bright smile on and holding a tray with cut fruits, cheese and crackers. There's also a a mango shake for their drink.
"Woah! Thanks auntie! " Danielle said appreciating Hanni's mom.
"You're welcome sweetheart." Mrs. Pham said as she gave a warm smile. "Enjoy your girls night, okay? Call me if you need something" she added then she left Hanni's room
The sleepover continued with laughter, snacks, and discussions about their lives and some teas.

Hanni and Karina stood in the hallway, excitement and nerves mixing in the air. Hanni excused Karina during discussion. The room was filled with the murmur of their professor's lecture, but they were more focused on the secret they were about to share.
Karina, with a mischievous glint in her eyes, greeted Hanni cheekily. "So, Hanni, you're really going to accept the dare, huh?"
Hanni returned the cheeky smile, her eyes filled with determination. "Absolutely, Karina. I've already talked to Yeonjun, and everything's sorted out."
Karina couldn't help but jump with excitement, her voice barely containing her happiness. "I knew you'd accept it! You're so passionate about cheerleading, Hanni. If this dare succeeds, that Cheer captain position will be yours for sure!"
Hanni's curiosity got the better of her, and she had to ask, "But what if the dare fails, Karina?"
Karina scoffed, her confidence unwavering. "Failure is not an option, Hanni. You got this. You're damn attractive. Minji would definitely fall for you. Besides, if it somehow doesn't work out, well, let's just say that title won't be yours."
She smirked, leaving a hint of mystery in the air.
Hanni sighed, feeling a mix of excitement and apprehension. "Alright, Karina, I guess it's worth the try."Karina beamed, and with an air of finality, she extended her hand towards Hanni. "Then it's a deal!" They both shook hands firmly, sealing their pact.
Hanni's voice was resolute as she confirmed, "Deal."
Little did they know, as they exchanged that fateful handshake, a pair of cold eyes looks them from the corner of the room through the windows. Hanni looked at Minji and saw the latter looking at her. She waved Hi but the latter ignored her and look back to their professor with a blank expression.
