NO ONE'S POV
It's been two days since Hannj haven't talked to Minji. She still feels upset but she's just wasting her time instead of doing something for the dare. She's having thoughts of giving up but she couldn't get Minji out of her mind. She felt like they still have an unfinished business together that she can't easily let go.
Hanni sat in the back seat of Danielle's car, her arms crossed and a sense of unease settling in. She muttered to herself with a mix of reluctance and determination, "I can't believe I'm doing this. I told her that I won't disturb her anymore."
Danielle, in the driver's seat, and Hyein in the passenger's seat had been waiting for hours near the university gate for Minji to get out.
"Well then, should we just accept Wonyoung as our cheer captain? And let the whole squad fall apart?" Danielle said then Hanni growled in irritation.
"and besides, didn't you say that Minji was different when you two were hanging out at her house? Maybe she's just restraining herself from you" Hyein said as she looked at her phone scrolling on her social media
"Why would she even do that" Hanni said then scoffed. She crossed her arms over her chest
Hyein shrugs her shoulders, "you told us she told you that she wasn't good at showing her emotions. She's an introvert right? Maybe she's just shy or she didn't want to show her true self to others." She said
Hanni was about to reply to what Hyein said when finally, a familiar big bike roared out of the gate, and Hanni exclaimed, "Follow that big bike, that's Minji!"
"Woah. Minji got nice taste in motorcycles" Hyein said quite surprised. "She kinds looks cool though"
Danielle did her best to keep up with Minji, her eyes on the road. She remarked, "Minji is quite a fast driver."
Hyein, sitting beside Danielle, reminded her, "Focus, Dani."
Hanni voiced her concern, "We might lose her."
But Danielle skillfully followed Minji until they arrived at an expensive-looking club. Minji dismounted on her big bike, removed her helmet, wore her usual black hat, and handed her keys to the valet staff.
Hanni couldn't help but notice the respectful salute she received, followed by her discreetly tipping the staff with a handful of bills.
Minji then walked up to the entrance, fist-bumping the two big bouncers, who also received generous tips. Unbeknownst to Minji, her actions had not gone unnoticed by the trio in the car.
Hanni remarked, "It seems like she's a regular at this club." The revelation left them baffled, as Minji had always come across as a complete introvert.
Hyein questioned, "Is she really an introvert?" She asked confused.
Hanni smirked and replied, "She's indeed mysterious."
Danielle suggested, "You better go in there, Hanni."
"Take care! Give us an update, okay?" Hyein said. Hannj nodded and then took a deep breath
Preparing herself, Hanni took a deep breath before exiting the car.She approached the club's entrance but was promptly stopped by the bouncers, who demanded to know her identity.
Hanni asserted, "I'm Hanni, I know Kim Minji."
However, her claim was met with skepticism. The bouncer requested a membership card, causing Hanni to frown and quickly come up with an excuse. She then dropped a not-so-subtle threat,
"If you don't let me in, I'll tell my girlfriend, Minji, and make sure you two get fired!."
The bouncers exchanged glances and ultimately relented, allowing Hanni to enter into the club.
As she stepped inside, Hanni was greeted by a scene of flashing lights and women dancing provocatively in various small stages barely dressed. It was a strip club, and the atmosphere was unlike anything she had ever experienced.
Despite the spectacle, Hanni was on a mission to find Minji. She walked around to look for Haerin but she couldn't see her. So she approached the bartender, her curiosity and anxiety building."Where can I find Minji?" Hanni asked the bartender.
The bartender's eyes widened with recognition. "Ah, our VVIP, Kim Minji?" He asked as he stop what he was doing.
Hanni nodded eagerly, stating, "Yes, that's her." She said. She's surprised that Minji is considered as a VVIP in this strip club. 'This is so unlike Minji. but She is indeed a mysterious person' she thought.
The bartender leaned in, a hint of caution in his voice. "She's on the second floor, VVIP room 1. But who are you?" he asked confused.
Hanni, deciding to play along, claimed, "I'm Minji's girlfriend." However, her statement seemed to cast a shadow over the bartender's smile.
He cautioned her, "You shouldn't go in there unless you want to get hurt."
"What do you mean?" Hanni asked frowning.
"Just leave." the bartender said but Hanni Decided to ignore his warning.
"One shot of tequila please." she said. She thinks she needed a shot to somewhat ready herself for whatever awaits her encounter with Minji.
The bartender serves her shot of tequila and Hanni didn't hesitate to drink it in one go.
"Thank you" she said then smiled
"That's on the house. Goodluck" the bartender said smirking
"Whatever." Hanni said somewhat pissed at the bartender for making her nervous. She walks up to the 2nd floor and then looked for the room where she can find Minji.
