Chapter 17- Revealing "Bunny"

NO ONE'S POV

Minji sat at the very corner of the university cafeteria, lunch spread out before her. Her best friend, Haerin, joined her with a Slight smile, taking a seat across from Minji.

As they began to eat, Minji couldn't help but feel the need to share what had happened at the club with someone. She decided to open up to Haerin but kept Hanni's name a secret. "Haerin," she started hesitantly, "you know, something interesting happened to me recently."

Haerins curiosity was intrigued, and she leaned in closer. "Tell me," she urged, "what's going on? You barely have something going on in your life. I'm glad something happened" she teased then giggled

Minji's gaze fell to her food, and she spoke softly, "I met this someone here at the university. We met here at the cafeteria, she accidentally spilled her coffee on me. Let's call her 'Bunny'." She said as this word best describes Hanni because of her bright smile and Energetic Positive personality that is almost the opposite of hers.

"I've been tutoring her and there was a time where she confessed to me. She told me that she finds me attractive but I don't believe her. I think it's too sudden. She's famous and she's such a social person. I don't think someone like her would literally like me."

Haerin Frowned as she hated how Minji think of herself lowly, "Hey!, Don't be harsh on yourself. You're fucking beautiful despite your cold and weird demeanor." She said then Minji chuckled
"Thanks bro. Let me continue." Minji said then Haerin nodded "So, she accidentally caught me doing something with some prostitute an-"

"What the fuck!!" Haerin shouted as she stood up from her seat in shock. Other students started to glance at them. Minji lowered her cap to hide her face.

"Haerin! If keep on reacting like this I won't share this with you!" Minji said sternly in a whisper.

"Oh shit, sorry" Haerin said as she sat again then leaned closed to Minji. "Continue, please" she said excitedly

"So she caught me and already knew my secret. I was high and tipsy that night so I kinda.. uhm.." Minji said with hesitation. "Let's just say something happened to us and I kind of starting to enjoy her company. What should I do?"

Haerin smirked. She's so happy for her bestfriend. "What do you mean what should you do? Bro! Just court her already!" she suggested which made Minji blush

"No! I just said that I enjoy her company. I didn't say that I have feelings for her!"

"Bro, trust me it's the same" Haerin said then chuckled. She took a bite of her food.

"No it isn't!" Minji defended. "I just don't know how to act towards her after something happened to us. We talked about continuing our tutor session but how should I act?"

"Why are you asking me? Bro, it's up to you." Haerin said smirking "Try to act like yourself, act naturally. Bro, this happens to you once in a blue moon. Whoever that 'Bunny' is. Maybe she'll be your first official girlfriend!" She said excitedly

"I don't plan to be in a relationship, Hae. Especially when she's a social person."

"What makes her a social person anyway?" Haerin curiously asked

"She's actually a cheerleader." Minji said
Haerin's eyes widened in surprise, and then a playful grin crept onto her face. "Well, well," she teased, "Minji, it sounds like you hit jackpot! Who is she?? Come on tell me!" She asked with anticipation

Minji chuckled nervously, relieved that Haerin seemed to take it well. "I won't tell you yet. We promised that we won't tell what happened to anyone and I just fucking revealed what happened to us." she said as she remembers the promise she did with Hanni

Haerin frowned, "What the heck? Im your bestfriend, Uhh remember 10 years of friendship!, Am I not trustworthy?" She said then Frowned.

"Promise, I'll tell you at the right time and besides I trusted you enough to tell you that something happened" Minji said then rolled her eyes

Just as they continued their conversation, Haerin's face lit up as she checked her phone. "Oh, speaking of interesting encounters," she said excitedly, "guess who followed me on Instagram?"

Haerin raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Who?"
Minji grinned triumphantly. "Danielle, the cheerleader," she replied. "And she even initiated a chat with me."

Minji's eyes widened in pleasant surprise. "That's awesome, Haerin! Congratulations," she said, genuinely happy for her friend.
Haerin beamed, feeling a sense of

accomplishment. "Thank you!" she exclaimed. "I didn't expect it, but it seems like she's interested in getting to know me."

"I didn't know she's interested in girls." Minji Replied

"Well, I didn't know your 'Bunny' is interested to a girl like you also. You said famous.. was it Somi? Hyein? Karina? Sakura? or the top most famous, Hanni?" Minji asked smirking

"I told you I won't tell you." Minji said then Haerin groaned. She really wanted to know who likes Minji.

Haerin sighed, "Seriously bro, you owe me big time for not revealing your 'Bunny'. How can I let that slip out of my mind?!" She said whining
"It's not Sakura, Isa, Or Karina. Did that help ease your mind?" Minji said chuckling

"Shit bro! So it's either Hanni or Hyein???! You lucky son of a bitch!" Haerin whisper-shouted excitedly. Minji laughed at her friend's reaction "at this point, you Should just Tell me who it Is!!"

"Fuck it, it's Hannj."

"Ahhh!" Haerin shouted in shock. Student once again looked at them this time, Minji stood up then walked away. Haerin run towards her leaping in happiness. "You lucky shit!" She said happily as she head locked Minji.

"You better shut up. If this comes out, our friendship's over", Minji shouted, Haerin released her then ran, Minji ran after her.
