Chapter 32- Breakup

NO ONE'S POV

Hanni anxiously waited for Jake in their meeting place. Hanni decided that it would be better if she end things with Yeonjun if she wanted to be completely submissive to Minji. She was also confused how come her feelings towards Yeonjun suddenly gone after enjoying her time with her.

She's addicted to Minji's touch, dirty talks, and faint smell of the latter's lavender perfume.

She finally agreed to meet Yeonjun. The air outside the empty classroom grew heavy as Hanni saw Yeonjun walking towards her, his face fueled by anger. He wanted to confront Hanni about her recent behavior at the party. "Hanni, we really need to talk. Why have you been ignoring me? You didn't answer all my calls and texts" he demanded, his frustration evident.

Hanni, trying to remain composed, "Yeonjun, I needed some space to think. Can we please talk calmly?" She said her heart is beating fast in nervousness

Yeonjun, clearly agitated, agreed reluctantly. As they stepped into the quiet classroom, Yeonjun closed the door behind him, creating an isolated space for their conversation.

"Why have you been avoiding my calls and texts, Hanni? This isn't like you," Yeonjun insisted, his tone a mix of frustration and concern.

Hanni took a deep breath before speaking her truth. "Yeonjun, I've been doing a lot of thinking, and I realized that I'm not happy in our relationship. I think it's time for us to break up."

Yeonjun's eyes widened in disbelief. "Break up? Is this because of Minji?" he accused, his anger escalating.

"No, Yeonjun. It has nothing to do with Haerin. This is about us, our relationship," Hanni explained, her voice tinged with sadness and fear.

"You're lying! I can see it in your eyes. This is because of her!" Yeonjun shouted, his frustration boiling over. "You enjoyed giving her that lap dance. I saw it with my own eyes! Did you have Fucking sex with her?!"

Hanni shook her head, maintaining her resolve. "Yeonjun, please believe me. It's not about Minji. It's about us, our happiness. I can't continue pretending everything is okay when it's not." She said

Yeonjun, unwilling to accept the truth, continued to press Hanni. "You're just making excuses. Tell me the real reason!"

Feeling the weight of the moment, Hanni sighed. "I'm just not happy with you, Yeon. That's why I'm breaking up with you. And besides, I'll be backing out of the dare, I don't care anymore if I become the cheerleader or not. " She lied

Yeonjun's anger turned to hurt and betrayal. "You're not happy with me?" He said then scoffed "You're the one who didn't have the time for me! And now you want to break up?!" He shouted then kicked the arm of the chair beside him.

Hanni flinched at the sudden agressiveness of Yeonjun. "I'm just telling the truth.." she said looking down.

"Oh you want the truth? Okay! just to let you know, I slept with Sullyoon!" He said smirking
Hanni frowned then scoffed " You what?!" She said in disbelief. Well she thought that she isn't the only one cheating in this relationship.

Breaking up with Yeonjun isn't a bad idea anymore. She's glad that she didn't have to get all the blame for their break up.

"You didn't wanna have sex! So I slept with her!" He said smirking "You think you're a loss to me? You're just one of the bitches I wanted to fuck!" He said then Hanni slapped him.

Hanni nodded, "You know what? I fucking glad that I broke up with you! I'm glad that I didn't give my virginity to you!" She shouted

"So you did have sex with her!" He angrily said

"I already told you I didn't, it's up to you if you want to believe your delusions!" Hanni said pointing at Yeonjun

The atmosphere in the empty classroom turned even more intense as Yeonjun, fueled by anger and hurt, lashed out with a threat. "If you break up with me, I'll make Minji's life miserable. She'll regret ever being with you!"

Hanni's eyes flashed with anger and concern for Haerin. "Yeonjun, don't bring Minji into this. She has nothing to do with my decision to break up. It's between you and me."

Yeonjun, however, seemed undeterred by Hanni's plea. "She's part of it now. If you leave me, she'll pay the price."

Hanni's frustration turned into fierce
determination. "This is between us, Yeonjun. Minji is not to blame for our problems. Threatening her won't change anything."She said. As the tension escalated, Hanni stood her ground, refusing to let Yeonjun drag Minji into their personal turmoil.

"Yeonjun, you need to understand that our issues are ours to handle. Minji doesn't deserve to be involved in any of this. She's a separate person with her own feelings."

"I refuse to believe that Minji has nothing to do with this break up" he said angrily " You'll regret breaking up with me" he said pointing at Hanni. "I'll also involve Minji in this mess you made." He said smirking

Hanni sighs "You're a fucking asshole.." she said frowning. Hanni seized the opportunity to drive her point home. "We need to end this without causing harm to others. Minji has nothing to do with the reasons why we're breaking up."

Hanni's stern expression conveyed both anger and a plea for reason.

"Just see.." Yeonjun grumbled

Hanni sighed, knowing that their conversation had taken a toll on both of them. "Yeonjun, it's time for both of us to move on! Let's do it without causing unnecessary pain to those who aren't involved!" She said trying to be persistent

Yeonjun shook his head in disapproval and then threw the chair beside him .

"Stop doing that!" Hanni said as she's becoming scared how agressive Yeonjun is becoming.

Yeonjun walked out of the empty room, slamming the door hard behind him. Hanni hoped that Yeonjun would find a healthier way to cope with their breakup. She knew once Minji got involved in this, there would be a big mess. It would only create more complications in the situation.
