NO ONE'S POV
In the dimly lit corner of their favorite hangout spot at the university, Hyein leaned forward, her eyes filled with concern. "Hanni, how did Yeonjun take the breakup?" she asked, sensing that there might be more to the story.
Hanni took a deep breath, her eyes reflecting a mixture of sadness and apprehension. "He didn't take it well. He threatened me, said he'd ruin Minji's life if I didn't reconsider."
Danielle's eyes widened, a mix of shock and worry etched across her face. "That's a serious threat, Hanni. You can't take it lightly."
Hanni nodded, her voice tinged with anxiety. "I know. I told him not to involve Minji. But I'm scared he might do something to her." She said "But I'm also happy that I ended up things with him. He confessed that he was sleeping with Sullyoon"
Hyein and Hanni was shocked
"I didn't know Sullyoon unnie was a snakey bitch" Hyein said with her face in disbelief
Danielle nodded " I know right?" She said "Well that makes you two a fucking cheater, Hanni " she added and then Danielle nodded
Hyein's brow furrowed with concern. "But that doesn't mean Yeonjun could harm someone. We all know Yeonjun has a bad boy reputation in the university. We can't underestimate the seriousness of his threats."
Hanni added, "We need to do something about this or else Haerin will be dragged into this mess. I love her. Haerin loves her best friend so much.. I don't want to see her hurting" she said pouting. Then Hanni and Hyein pat Danielle's shoulder.
Hanni, though visibly shaken, tried to downplay the situation. "I just need to give him time to cool off. He'll understand eventually."
Hyein shook her head, adamant. "Hanni, this is beyond just giving him time. We need to take action. We can't risk Minji's safety. Does that girl even know how to fight?"
Hanni chimed in, "Let's talk to someone in authority, like a professor or the university counselor. They can intervene and ensure Minji is protected."
Hanni hesitated, unsure of involving others in her personal drama. "I don't want to make a big deal out of this. Maybe I can talk to Yeonjun again"
Hyein placed a reassuring hand on Hanni's shoulder. "You're dealing with someone unpredictable. We can't leave Minji's safety to chance. Let's talk to someone who can help."
Reluctantly, Hanni nodded, realizing the gravity of the situation. "Okay, maybe but after I try to talk to him, pleaseee. I don't want Minji to get hurt and I don't also want to make a big issue about this"
"You like her.." Danielle said smirking
"What are you talking about?" Hanni asked frowning
Danielle and Hyein exchanged determined glances at each other, then nodded.
"Nothing.." Hyein said then shrug her shoulders
As they made plans to seek guidance and
protection for Minji, the weight of the situation hung heavily in the air. Hanni, torn between her desire to handle things quietly and the need to ensure Minji's safety, faced the daunting challenge of navigating the aftermath of her breakup with Yeonjun._____________________________________
The next day, Hanni found herself standing outside Minji's house gate, a mix of nerves and anticipation in her chest. Even though she was stressed from her not so well taken break up with Yeonjun, she wanted to release her stress for a bit.
She haven't seen Minji yesterday so Hanni wanted to see her. She got in the gate then walked towards Minji's front door. Then pushed the doorbell and then knocked three times.
Minji who was at the kitchen, eating a snack while she was on her laptop doing her thesis looks a bit surprised as she wasn't expecting someone to come.
She walks towards the door as she took her laptop with her. Since her Nanny Rose wasn't home because of her vacation leave.
When Minji opened the door, confusion flickered across her face. "Hanni, what are you doing here?" She asked as she opened the door and signaled Hanni to come inside
Hanni walked inside with a smile on her face. Then Minji closed the door.
A mischievous smirk played on Hanni's lips as she replied, "I missed you, Daddy." She said with her flirty voice
Minji raised an eyebrow, a playful smile appearing. "Well, you could've just called. What brings you here?" She said then she bit her lower lips
Hanni, always one for surprises, grinned. "I wanted to see what you were up to. Anything interesting?" She said then raises her eyebrows
Minji chuckled, "Just working on my thesis. The usual." She said then showed Hanni the laptop she was holdingHanni, determined to disrupt Minji's focus, decided to playfully distract her. "Thesis can wait. Come on, take a break. Let's do something fun." She said as she held Minji's hand pulling it towards her.
Minji smirked, resisting the temptation. "Nice try, Hanni, but I have a deadline." She tried to remove her hands from Hanni bur the latter was to persistent and didn't let her go.
Undeterred, Hanni persisted, "Just a short break. It won't hurt. Trust me. Your baby just wanted to spend time with daddy" she said smirking
Minji licked her lips as she was considering giving into Hanni's temptation but she shook her head, maintaining her focus. "I really can't, Hanni. This is important." She said then smirked. She leans towards Hanni ear "Daddy can give what my baby wants, if only you wait patiently" she said
Hanni bit her lower lips, however, wasn't one to back down easily. She thought for a moment, then a mischievous glint sparked in her eyes. "Fine, if you won't take a break willingly, I'll have to make you."
Minji chuckled, thinking Hanni was bluffing. "Good luck with that."
Hanni, determined to divert Minji's attention, approached her with a sly smile. In one swift motion, she grabbed Minji's laptop and playfully placed it out of reach.
"Hey! What are you doing?" Minji exclaimed, a mix of surprise and amusement on her face.
Hanni, with a triumphant smirk, said, "You said you needed a break. Now, what do you want to do instead?"Minji, caught off guard, couldn't help but laugh. "Okay, you win. What do you have in mind?"
Hanni, satisfied with her small victory, suggested, "How about we go grab some coffee or take a walk? Anything to get you away from that thesis for a little while, daddy"Minji smirked, realizing she was outmaneuvered, sighed in mock defeat. "Fine, coffee sounds good. But only for a short break, okay? Daddy needs to finish something"
Hanni grinned, pleased with the outcome. As they left Minji's house, laughter filled the air, and Hanni felt a sense of accomplishment in successfully diverting Minji's attention. They decided to walk to a nearby café.
