Chapter 26- Lovers quarrel

NO ONE'S POV

Hanni looked around, she makes sure that Yeonjun doesn't see her with Minji. She promised Yeonjun that her attention will only be on him but Minji made her change her decision. She doesn't expect to see Minji to come at Danielle's party, and most importantly, she didn't expect her to sleep with Minji at Danielle's house but she'll do it anyways because she felt turned on.

As they walk through the main party area, Minji and Hanni saw Haerin and Danielle laughing, and dancing to the music, bodies close with each other. Minji watched them have fun as Hanni pulled her wrist Walking upstairs.

Unfortunately Halfway up the stairs, someone called Hanni.

"Hanni!" a disappointed voice of a man is heard. it made Hanni nervous. she looked back to see Yeonjun looking upset.

Minji noticed Hanni's sudden change of face from smiling to serious. she looked at Danielle looked Flickering a bit down to see Yeonjun at the bottom of the staircase with both of his hands in his School jock Jacket, his eyes flickering between the two. and she frowned to see Yeonjun.

"Uhm.. Minji, I gotta talk to Yeonjun first. It'll be quick, I'll be back." she said as she released her hands on Minji but Minji didn't let her go, instead, Minji held her hand tighter.

Minji pulled Hanni closer to her and then leaned in to whisper, "Don't go with that man or else you'll be punished." she said with an
authoritative tone. which made Hanni's legs feel weak.

She wanted Minji now but her boyfriend is getting in the way.

"Minji.." Hanni said looking helpless

"Do you like him?" Minji asked with a hint of jealousy and anger in her Facial expressions.

Hanni noticed this, "No, I told you, I'm interested with you." she said to Minji, trying to make an eye contact with the latter

Minji looked away, "But you don't seem to show it with your actions now." she said with a hint of dissapointment in her voice

Hanni sighed in frustration and in nervousness. "I'm only entertaining him for my reputation, daddy." she lied. "I'm actually using his reputation to elevate mine.."

"Isn't it the other way around? You're using me while he's the one who your really like" Minji replied frowning.

Hanni's eye's widened, her heart started to beat fast, "U-using you?" She stutters "No.. I'm using him, not you." She lied trying to assure Minji of her so called 'real situation'

Minji removed her grip on Hanni's hand, "You'll get punished later. Go and talk with that asshole." She said with her stern voice

"Sorry.. I wi-" Hanni said but Minji's attention suddenly diverts to the person who tapped on her shoulder. It was Haerin

who had been watching them from across the room. Haerin noticed Minji's serious expression and the tension between her and Hanni so she decided to interfere.

"Minji, come dance with us!" she said

pretending to be enjoying her time. She forced to pull Minji towards the dance floor.

Minji facepalmed as her friend drags her into something she wouldn't even dare to do.

On the other hand, Hanni looked at her boyfriend and then sighed. Yeonjun's walks away and Danielle followed. He stopped at a quiet corner of the house.

Hanni walked towards Yeonjun who is now frowning, "Jun.." she said "i didn't know she was comi-"

"What are you doing, Hanni?" Yeonjun asked pissed cutting Hanni off. "This isn't what we talked about earlier. You should be with me and not her!" He pointed at the staircase they were at.

"Lower your voice will you? Why are you acting like this?" Hanni asked frowning "I'm doing this for the dare." She added

"Fuck that dare, Hanni. cut your ties with that fucking nerd." Yeonjun said angrily " you shouldn't even be holding her hand. We had an agreement, right? You're not following it!" He added

Hanni scoffed, "Are you really gonna act like this right now, Choi Yeonjun?" she asked her boyfriend.

Hanni felt herself loosing her temper. "I'm not going to stop the dare. I've already come this far.. I won't stop it just because you're being a brat."
Yeonjun scoffed ruffling his hair, as he chuckled in anger. "Are you sleeping with her?" He asked angrily "Did you plan to fuck her that's why you're dragging her upstairs?"

"Watch your mouth, Yeonjun." Hanni said sternly "we were going upstairs to talk. And i will never sleep with her. How many times do I have to tell you that?" She said angrily

"Aren't I your boyfriend? You promised me earlier that you'll be on my side and now I caught you with that nerd?" Yeonjun said frowning "You are slowly replacing me!"

Hanni rolled her eyes, " you're being childish, Yeonjun. I do-" she was cutted by a familiar figure

Earlier, Hyein was looking for Hanni so she could invite her to play a game, when she noticed that Jake is following the pissed-looking Yeonjun.

She was worried for her friend knowing that Yeonjun is quick tempered, so she followed them and ended up evesdropping. Hyein pretended to be unaware of the increasing tension between Yeonjun and Hanni and then got in between the lovers,

"Hey guys! why do i feel tense atmosphere here!" She asked with her jolly voice. She cutted Hanni because she didn't want her best friend to get into trouble as she heard that Yeonjun mentions Minji, "Let's not have lover's quarrel here. Let's have fun! come join us play truth or dare!" Hyein said smirking as she forcefully pulled the two to join the game. they went into a much less chaotic place inside the house where other players are waiting

Hyein let Yeonjun and Hanni seat beside each other on the large circle that already existed. Haerin, Minji, Danielle, Somi, Karina, as well as other basketball teammates of Yeonjun joined in the circle.

Yeonjun and Minji are currently having death glares with each other and Hanni knew about this. She sighed then facepalmed herself.

"Let's start now guys!" Hyein excitedly said. She then whispered something to Danielle then Danielle nodded. Hyein then sat beside Danielle.

"Guys! before we start, i have to remind y'all that this is just a game! Let's not take this seriously, let's chill and have fun!" Danielle said smiling " and no hard feelings after this game" she added

" Let's gaur!" Hyein said excitedly
