NO ONE'S POV

Hanni randomly decided to arrive ahead of her usual schedule. As she walks through their University hallways, a ripple of confusion passed through her when she noticed when her fellow University mates glancing in her direction, exchanging hushed words with their friends.
Nervously, she walked towards her room, the whispering following her like a shadow. She felt unusual and her heart is beating fast.

When she was about to enter, she heard a familiar voice that called her. It's Karina's voice. She turned around and saw Karina with a cheeky smile.

Amidst the uncertain murmurs, Karina greeted Danielle "Hey, Danielle, have you heard the news?" Somi's tone carried a mix of intrigue and mischief.

A knot tightened in Hanni's stomach as she replied, "No, what news?" She bit her lip as her anxiety is increasing

Karina leaned a bit towards Hanni, "People are saying you and Minji slept together," Karina spilled the words, relishing in the shock that flashed across Hanni's face. Fear gripped Hanni, wondering if Yeonjun had a hand in spreading this rumor or if someone secretly saw them fucking at the teachers' lobby or much worse, someone had taken a picture or video of what she and Minji did.

A crowd formed, and someone directly questioned Hanni about the truth. She remained silent, prompting Karina to show a smirk, "was it true?" She asked Hanni

Hanni held Karina's hand and then they went inside an empty class room. Hanni sighed
Karina smirked and then furrowed her eyebrows,"You wouldn't be that low, right? Sleeping with a nerdy-weird nobody just for the sake of a dare?" She said feeling a bit intrigued

The accusation hung heavy in the air, and Hanni, feeling the weight of judgment,
defended herself. "Even if I had been with Minji, the dare wasn't the reason. I wouldn't be that low like what you think," she asserted, desperately trying to dispel the brewing rumors.

Somi nodded, skepticism lingering. "I guess it was true. Ew, Hanni," she added, a judgmental edge to her words.

Refusing to be completely defined by the gossip, Hanni stood her ground. "You can think what you want, Karina. But the truth is more complicated and fun than the rumors." She said then crossed her arms

Karina stepped forward, "Don't get me wrong Hannj, I believe you. Just be careful with Yeonjun. He could ruin your reputation, just like what's happening now." She expressed her fake support.

"Yeonjun spread this rumor?" Hanni asked frowning

Karina nodded then scoffed "I guess he couldn't accept the fact that you chose someone like Minji rather than him" she said " He's a known bad boy in campus, I just hope your Minji can handle him lol" she said then laughed. Hanni felt troubled and then felt a bit releived because no one knows that she and Minji fucked in the teacher's lobby.

The campus, once a haven of camaraderie, now felt like a battleground for Hanni's reputation. Navigating through the sea of judgment and unfounded rumors, she faced the harsh reality that her personal life had become a public entertainment of nosy people.

The truth became concealed by speculation, leaving Hanni to wrestle not only with the gossip but also with the shadows of her past relationship with Yeonjun.

Hanni sought to overcome the challenges posed by a storm of rumors and the lingering threat of Yeonjun's influence.

"Deep thought?" Karina asked dthen chuckled. Somi showed a sly grin on her face. "Hanni, despite the rumors circulating, you did a phenomenal job at the dare," Somi declared, her tone carrying a mix of triumph and amusement.

"The cheer captain position will surely be yours."
A wave of confusion and guilt crashed over Hanni. "What does this mean? Did Minji.. d-did she get removed as a valedictorian candidate?" she stutters as as she questioned Karina. Her anxiety lacing her words.

Somi nodded, confirming Hanni's fears. "Yes, she did. You successfully completed the dare, Hanni. Everything is all into place." She said smirking

A pang of regret tightened Hanni's chest. She didn't expect it to be this soon. She didn't know she have this much effect on Minji and the realization hit her like a weight. "What have I done?" she whispered to herself, haunted by the repercussions of her actions.

Worry for Minji intensified as Hanni stepped out of the room. Karina followed. Hannj quickened towards Minji's room.

Karina looks at Hanni figure walking away. She suddenly felt confused. 'Did she fall in love with Minji?' she asked to herself then scoffed. Karina watched Hanni's departure with a sense of satisfaction. She had achieved her goals at the expense of others, and the fallout continued to unfold. As Hanni grappled with the aftermath of the dare, the university seemed to transform into a stage where reputations crumbled, friendships strained, and Karina seem to enjoy the chaos she had meticulously orchestrated.

The hallway seemed endless for Hanni, each step echoing with the weight of her guilt. She couldn't shake the feeling that she had betrayed Minji. She consciously did that dare but not thinking through how hurt Minji would feel. She curses at herself. She did not want Minji to feel hurt.

Before she didnt care much about Minji but now, she's concerned for her. Minji had trusted her real quick. Hanni felt like a trash. The idea of being the cheer captain doesn't excite her even a little bit. She's concerned with Minji's feelings.

Meanwhile, Karina stood in the hallway, a triumphant smirk playing on her lips. She had orchestrated a sequence of events that secured her the valedictorian spot.

but someone else, standing across looking at Hanni smirking, Happy, that the rumor also tore apart Yeonjun and Hanni's relationship.

The rumors swirling around Hanni threatened to tarnish her perfect cheerleader reputation. She's basically happy for herself.

As Hanni reached Minji's class room, Hanni opened the door, and her eyes met Minji's in an instant. Minji's expression is a mix of surprise and confusion and Hanni walked towards her. "Hanni, what's going on?" she asked.

Hanni hesitated, "Minji, are you okay? I'm sorry didn't want this to happen to you." She said
Minji sighed, her disappointment evident.

"What do you mean happen to me? What do you know that I didn't?" Minji asked, eyebrows furrowed

"You-" Hanni was cutted by the Dean's secretary

"Ms. Kim Minji?" Ms. Kim asked

"Yes, that's me" Minji said as she looked at the Dean's secretary

"The dean wants to talk to you" Ms. Kim said

"O-okay" Minji said confused as she stood up from her seat, grabbing her bag

Hanni felt the weight of her actions pressing down on her. 'Shit she still doesn't know..' she thought to herself.
