We came back from Mpumalanga last night, yes I am tired but as the bible says there's no rest for the saints haibo kanjani manje Zama,is it not the wicked? Ehh my bible says for the saints, angisona is'khohlakali mina. Anyways as I was saying, although I'm tired,I have to wake up and go to work. Ohh shit konje today we have a wedding to prepare for eThembisa. Yes,yes dummy.

As I get out of bed,I first take my phone and y'all won't believe the amount of notifications I have. First things first,I open my WhatsApp and ignore all the other notifications. To my surprise I have tons of messages from a lot of people. Some I last spoke to years ago, some I only have their numbers to view their statuses and some I only have their numbers because they are "family". What a shock, what a wow, what a jump scare. What do they want? Is It my birthday maybe and I just forgot? I read the first text from this other chick and awoop jump scare! I open the link that she sent me and what I see takes my breathe away literally. And not in a good way.

"Wow,just wow. What a great way to start off my day!" I sigh out loud in frustration after reading whats written here. So ladies and gentlemen,I'm trending! That's what's the fuss is about and its all thanks to Hlanganani. I just don't know yet if its a good thing or a bad thing. I'm trending under the hash tags #who is she, #ByHL, #newgirlfriend? There are pictures from yesterday of me and him in public holding hands and stuff, other's are from the two gigs which I attended.

People want to know who am I and what's my relation to Hlanganani and the matching outfits from yesterday aren't helping my case. So far no one has said anything about my identity and that's good,he hasn't replied which is also good. Hopefully this will all be over and forgotten about in two days. I have mixed emotions about this but rest assured happiness isn't one of them,I go back to WhatsApp to read the texts and these bitches are on some "awusasho ukuthi ujola necrush yam" "Yhooo Zama I'm seeing you all over the Internet with that DJ guy" "Is this you and is it true?" "Y'all make a cute couple." Trust me the messages are never ending and already I'm bored.

I don't reply to any of them. I sing along to my ringtone as my phone rings...its him and guess what? I'm gonna let it ring. It rings and rings until it stops, then it starts again and agaiiin I let it ring until it stops. I put the phone back down on the nightstand and start making my bed and cleaning my bedroom. When all is done,I lay out my outfit on the bed then get into the shower.

"Kodwa mzala its a good thing ukuthi uyatrenda" says Khethiwe and shame I give her a side eye. "Mzala..." I stop her from talking by lifting up my hand and I dial the number of the bride's sister. We are on our way to Thembisa to see the set up and everything,Khethiwe is driving while I'm making calls and rechecking that all is in place and well. And no we both don't have a car, this Ford Ranger is a company car...it belongs to neither of us. We only use it for work and both of us are equally contributing towards its installments, petrol and insurance fees.

"For someone's Internet famous, umoody shame" that's her again in a disapproving tone after I have ended my call. She's not wrong,I have been off since seeing my face all over social media but surely my mood is justified right? "I didn't ask for it" I say dismissively and she shifts her attention back on the road. Again Hlanganani is calling,Khethiwe looks at me then at my phone when she notices that it has been ringing for a while now. It eventually stops ringing and surprisingly she doesn't utter a word. He sends a text ~Nomzamo answer your phone! Are you okay?~ the text reads.

~Sorry I can't attend to your call, ngibusy try calling later maybe~ I text back then I switch off my phone. "Me I will ask shame,um'zibelani usbali?" I first laugh at the nickname then I say "angim'zibi, honestly I am busy. Usisi Joyce uthi they are done with the decor but they are short on chairs meaning that we have to go and fetch the other set of chairs. Ohh abantu bekhekhe abakafiki" I give her an update, sis Joyce is our go to person in terms of idecor. Whether its a wedding, party, function or shower we trust her to do the job.
