It's been a week since Ama came to the edge and me and Stormfly started our courtship and so far it's been going well. Ama did some repairs on the nesto with the help of some of the riders and she seems to enjoy being around them, surprisingly she has taken a liking to snotlout, I've caught them sewing and building this together before and they seem to like each other's company, he even gave her the nickname "webs". Me and Stormfly on the other hand have been taking it slow and we decided to not tell anyone we were courting but if they already knew they could spread it around if they wished, aside from that though the riders had finally constructed my new nest! Or... rather a building for me to live in but still, they decided to put it closer to the edge for sake of convenience and for emergencies which I didn't mind. Today however... was hectic... Hiccup came into the clubhouse in a hurry and gathered the riders, dragons, and myself, he had a terrible terror on his shoulder and a small note in his hand.

Hiccup : "Ok guys, we just got a distress message from outcast island, something is attacking them."

Astrid : "dragon hunters?"

Hiccup : "maybe, the note didn't say anything about them though, they probably didn't have time to add any other details."

Snotlout : "great! So, we're flying in blind as usual."

Hiccup : "pretty much. Alright gang saddle up, we need to hurry."

Walking over to Stormfly i lay down and nudged her gently with my snout getting her attention.

Stormfly : "what's up y/n?"

y/n / Strax : "you know where the island is correct?"

Stormfly : "yeah of course."

y/n / Strax : "excellent! Could you point me in the right direction? I can fly faster than anyone here and could intercept the hunters."

Letting out a sigh Stormfly points out in a direction prompting me to get up and nuzzle her snout with mine and whisper to her.

y/n / Strax : "thank you love, I'll be cautious i promise."

Stormfly chuckles slightly at the nickname before nuzzling my snout in return.

Stormfly : "you had better~ i don't want to have to drag your sorry butt out of there~"

Chuckling a bit I stop nuzzling her and nod as I walk outside and activate my jets and fly off into the sky painting the land and see below a bright red before increasing thrust and turning the red to a searing white and making a loud sonic boom as i go.

Flying above the ocean I spotted an island almost completely devoid of plant life, or really any kind of life to begin with, it was completely covered in black sharp rocks that had been clearly eroded by the waves and rainfall, above the island there was a fierce storm that was pelting the island with lightning bolts regularly, which made me cringe as memories came into my mind of getting struck midflight by lightning.

y/n / Strax : "wonderful... *sigh* i had best dispatch the hunters swiftly..."

Just as I was about to increase my speed further, I saw a purple wyvern fly out of the clouds and fire a bolt of lightning from its mouth and strike at some humans...
