Hiccup : "Alright big guy, we're going to do some trust building exercises."

y/n : "oh this is going to be interesting."

As I say that I grin, causing toothless glares at me and sighs. Hiccup walked over to Toothless and pulled some fish out of it. Walking over to him I took it out of his hand and ate it.

Hiccup : "there we go. Why are you so jumpy around multiple people big guy?"

As Hiccup asks that, he walks to my side and looked at me while I ate the fish. I couldnt tell exactly what he was looking at but then he reached his hand out and touched one of my new scars on my side causing me to flinch and jump back. The wounds had since scarred over but they were still sensitive to the touch. As I jumped away from Hiccup I whipped my head to look at him. He looked like he was bracing for impact, which was understandable due to what I had done in the past. After a few moments hiccup finally opened his eyes to look at me.

Hiccup : "y-you didn't shoot? You didn't shoot!"

Toothless : "you didn't shoot!!!"

The both of them sounded happy and relieved as they looked at me. Hiccup began to walk over to me, but I backed up a small bit making the small human give a questioning look.

y/n : "I think we're done for now."

As i say that i begin to walk back to the training area making toothless and hiccup look at each other in confusion.

Toothless : "w-wait y/n? Where are you going?"

y/n : "I'm going back to the arena... I need some time to myself."

As I walk to the arena, memories flood my mind of the hunters that chased me from my old home. Weapons, Blood, death, hunters. All that death to simply boast about who killed the biggest beast and make a trofie of their hides... walking into the arena I see that no one is currently there so I go into the center.

y/n : "maybe i should go for a fly... it might help me clear my head."

Taking a deep breath, I begin to mix dragon element and air into my wings creating a bright red light to coat the arena before finally blasting off the ground and flying high into the sky. Looking down I see the dragon's edge, it looks so peaceful from this height, if only it was like that when I'm down there. As I gaze down flashes of memories fill my mind of Bherna, the hunting village that pushed me out of my home and my territory. Shaking my head, I pick up my speed as I fly over some sea stacks hearing the waves crash against the rocks as I fly above them. I fly for hours darting past sea stacks, flying past mountains and eventually flying over dragon's edge again as the sun begins to set.

y/n : i should land soon. After all, they're most likely wondering where I went off to...

Flying down towards the arena I see the dragon riders have gathered there. I fly down and begin to hover above them covering them in a crimson light before finally landing with a thud. As the dust settles from my landing the dragon riders and their dragons look at me with a sense of relief shock and confusion

Stormfly : "y/n?! We were going to go looking for you, where did you go?!"

y/n : "I went on a flight."

Barf and belch : "you can fly!?"

Letting out a small sight I look over at the barf and belch.

y/n : "yes. I can fly."

Fishlegs : "that. Was INCREDIBLE!!! Hiccup did you see!?"

Hiccup : "yeah Fishlegs I saw. We have a lot of work to do ahead of us."

As they say that I let out a long sigh and sat down.

Toothless : "why did you leave? And why did you come back? We all thought you were gone"

Looking to Toothless who seemed confused and relieved that I returned. I pause for a moment before finally speaking.

y/n : "It is a long story, and as for why I didn't just leave that is simple. I want to see our deal out."

Toothless : "ok then?"
