A few days have passed since hiccups "trust building exercises" and it has been... interesting. After hiccup it was fishlegs turn and he mainly had me run tests and afterwards tried to get me to relax in a rock garden which was boring to say the least. After him it was Astrid's turn which was by far the most entertaining, considering it was battle practice. We did some target practice for a while and afterwards we went and tested the edges defenses. Next was the twins who despite me trying to kill them a few days ago were extremely excited to have me help them play pranks on the other riders which I didn't understand much, and it didn't help that toothless never explained what a joke was. And finally it was Snotlout's turn today where he and hookfang primarily tried to avoid me as much as they could, giving me some basic tasks and then ditching me shortly after. So I decided to explore more of the dragon's edge.

y/n : So where is this clubhouse I've heard so little about?

Walking around the edge I spot a large building that has a purple roof atop it and a night fury sign above it.

y/n : "Well that answers my question."

Sticking my head in the building I see snotlout and hookfang, astrid and stormfly and hiccup and toothless. Seeing me stick my head inside of the building snotlout jumps from his spot making astrid and hiccup look up from what they were doing.

Astrid : "snotlout i thought it was your turn to try to bond with the big guy."

Snotlout : "yeah, yeah, i'm on it."

As he says that Snotlout gets on Hookfang and flies off towards the forest. Seeing this, I follow behind on the ground so that I don't lose him. As we go out towards the forest Snotlout and Hookfang land and Snotlout gets off hookfang and picks up a small rock and holds it up so i can see it.

Snotlout : "see this? Go get it!"

As he says that snotlout throws the rock off a cliff and it lands in the ocean. Seeing this I let out a low growl and go look for the stone.

y/n : "go get it he says. Unbelievable to think that even fishlegs tests were more entertaining than this."

As I jump off the cliff, I activate my wings sending out jets of dragon energy and land with a thump. Walking into the water i look around for a while and eventually found the rock, it was close to the beach and thankfully did get washed out to sea. As I grab the rock, I fly back on top of the cliff looking around. Snotlout and Hookfang were nowhere to be seen.

y/n : "you have got to be joking..."

Walking forward I drop the rock and spot Fishlegs and Meatlug. They seemed to be taking note of how many dragons there were on the island.

Fishlegs : "ok there's a big flock. 575, 576- oh hello~"

As he says that a small bright orange dragon lands on the piece of paper he was holding onto. As soon as it landed onto the paper it was suddenly up in flames making fishlegs shriek in terror.

y/n : Now that's good comedy.

Fishlegs : "what's a fireworm doing this far out? There not supposed to be anywhere near our island. Eh, could have lost its way, now where were we meatlug? Was it 576? Or 675?"

As he says that another fireworm lands on a bush and it again instantly goes up in flames catching fishlegs by surprise. I put the fire out with my claws and look at fishlegs and meatlug.

Meatlug : "oh hey y/n."

y/n : "greetings. Tell me, are small dragons landing and setting the forest ablaze a normal occurrence?"

Meatlug : "no?"

y/n : "ah in which case you may wish to go inform the others."

As i say that i point out towards the rest of the forest which is slowly going up in flames. Seeing this, Fishlegs and Meatlug scramble over to Dragon's edge.

*Short time skip*

After a while the dragon riders come back to see what has happened. I was putting out some of the fires as best I could but whenever one gets put out three more get set ablaze and unfortunately, I was also out of earshot of the dragon riders. As the dragon riders are talking snotlout attempts to leave. Seeing this hiccup darted in front of Snotlout and Hookfang. After a bit they head back to the edge, and I decide to meet them there.

y/n : "no point in trying to put out this many fires without a plan."

Flying up into the sky i pass the dragon riders and land at the clubhouse and wait for them to arrive.
