looking over the edge, all the riders and dragons are asleep when an ethereal, light blue glow can be seen from y/n and Stormfly's nest before a shockwave bursts forth from it knocking over a few barrels and crates and spooking some night terrors causing them to hurriedly fly away.

y/n / Strax pov

It's been a day or so since we went to buffalord island and i taught Toothless and the others a lesson for trying to force the buffalord out of its territory. It was the middle of the night, and I was sleeping happily along with Stormfly in our nest when I felt a shockwave hit me. Groggily opening my eyes, groggily, I cast my gaze around the nest for what caused the disturbance to my sleep...

y/n / Strax : "*groan* Can I not get one full night's sleep on this island...?"

As I looked around my eyes eventually landed on Stormfly's sleeping form but... something looked different about her...... she seemed slightly larger, and her scales looked more vibrant, even with the darkness shrouding them slightly...

y/n / Strax : hmm... how strange......

gently nudging her, I try to wake her up, earning a soft groan from her in protest before I see her eyes open slightly.

Stormfly : "Babe...? What is *yawn* it?"

As she says that Stormfly sits up with a slightly confused expression on her face, before she seemingly notices something as she looks at me.

Stormfly : "wait... did you get shorter?"

y/n / Strax : "I assure you that I am the size I have been... however, I believe you have gotten bigger, love."

As I say that Stormfly looks at herself before her eyes widen in surprise before looking at me very confused and slightly concerned.

Stormfly : "how did this happen???"

y/n /Strax : "truthfully? I have a few ideas on how, however I believe it would be best if we got the others to get a more conclusive answer."

Stormfly : "y-yeah lets go get them."

As she said that Stormfly tried to stand up but unfortunately wound up smacking her head into the door frame making me cringe slightly as I walked up to her and gently licked the area where she hit her head.

y/n /Strax : "Perhaps you should just rest and try to adjust to your new size love."

Stormfly : "ow... yeah maybe."

Just as I was about to go and get the riders, they apparently beat me to it as Hiccup, Toothless, the Palico, Astrid, the twins, Barf and Belch, Meatlug, Fishlegs, Hookfang and Snotlout all landed outside our nest.

Astrid : "what's happening? We heard an explosion go off- wait... why is Stormfly-"

Hiccup / Toothless : "bigger?"

Fishlegs : "and more colorful?"

Hookfang : "yeah."

Tuffnut : "OH! I know this one! Hmm... it's on the tip of my tongue... meta... mega... megamophosis! There we go."
