It has been a few days since the incident with the cavern crasher and I was talking with Ama as she worked on the nesto, watching her dart from place to place. Stormfly, Astrid, Toothless and Hiccup had gone exploring for the day and I did not wish to see what trouble the twins and Snotlout would get into unsupervised.

Ama / webs : "come on wings, hunters? Here!? That's ridiculous. As much as I hate to defend the cat, it wouldn't be smart to contact the hunters to come and hunt us, not with Magia and his armada around, and even if that cat could contact them to come and get him it would take them, what? Weeks? Months? Years even??"

y/n / Strax : "I know what I saw ama... it was a hunter with rathalos armor being carried by some kind of small wyvern like a remobra."

Ama / webs : "and they just so happened to know exactly what island you were on? Come on wings, that's a little hard to believe you have to admit."

y/n / Strax : "it's not hard to believe if the cat somehow got into contact with them, or if one survived Dagurs attack somehow."

Ama / webs : "ok, so i'll admit that would explain how you saw A hunter, but not the small wyvern."

y/n / Strax : "thats what im still trying to figure out..."

As i said that i tapped one of my talons on the ground as i thought about the situation until i was pulled from said thoughts by Ama tapping my shoulder.

Ama / webs : "look wings, i believe you saw something but we aren't familiar with this area enough to say its a hunter for certain, it could have been anything for all we know. For Fatalis' sake humans have befriended the monsters and wyverns here, it might've been another human like that."

y/n / Strax : "I know, but what if it was a hunter? I still think it would be wise if we prepared the dragons and the riders, after all where there's one hunter there's bound to be more."

At my response Ama simply let out a small chuckle and nodded in agreement.

Ama / webs : "alright, you have a point there, i'll help you train them in a bit, i still have some repairs to do on the nesto. Oh, any word about Steve by the way?"

y/n / Strax : "none to my knowledge, though i haven't really checked on him since i knocked him out and drug him into the arena for quarantine."

Ama / webs : "huh... should probably go check on him."

y/n / Strax : "most likely. Well either way, I shall see you later Ama."

Ama / webs : "see ya wings."

At that I activated my jets and flew up into the sky before I heard an explosion coming from the edge.

y/n / Strax : "FOR FATALIS SAKE WHAT NOW!?"

Increasing my speed I fly over towards the edge, making a sonic boom in the process. Slowing my speed so that I don't crash into anything I look around for the cause of the explosion, finding the twins and Snotlout exploding some balloons with monstrous nightmare gel or rather they were before Fishlegs and Meatlug arrived and they tried to take it from them to little success. Upon seeing that we were not under attack I let out a sigh of relief that quickly gave way to irritation. letting out an irritated hiss I increase thrust and fly high up into the air making a sonic boom as I fly that shook the sky.
