Stormfly : "wait, wait, wait, what do you mean an old friend!?"

Stormfly runs after me with Astrid on her back who is clearly confused at what's going on. Not wanting anyone to see me like this, I don't look at her as I talk trying to not let my voice crack.

y/n / Strax : "can we please not do this right now Stormfly..."

As i say that Stormfly suddenly runs in front of me making me stop quickly.

Stormfly : "no we need too! That dragon was talking about killing all humans and wanted you to join him??? Why would he- wait... are you... crying?"

Looking away from the small wyvern I try to hide my tears, but she moves around to try to see my front and look me in the eyes... Eventually I let out a small sigh and looked at her directly.

Stormfly : "y/n... what happened?"

y/n / Strax : "a lot..."

Stormfly : "wanna... talk about it?"

y/n / Strax : "yes... but not with astrid here, please..."

As I ask that Stormfly's eyes widen a bit in surprise before she nods her head in understanding, albeit with a questioning look on her face.

Stormfly : "I'll go drop her off and we'll meet back at your nest, ok?"

y/n / Strax : "ok... and thank you Stormfly..."

Stormfly : "of course y/n."

At that Stormfly flies off to the edge with Astrid on her back and I activate my jets and blast off to my nest. When I arrive, I look down at my nest and remember that I need to rebuild it to accommodate my larger size. Whipping the tears from my eyes I walk over and start to collect the needed materials and I also begin to think about what I'm going to do.

y/n / Strax : "no better time to start then the present i suppose, plus it will take stormfly a while before she arrives."

*time skip*

I had gathered the needed materials and had started rebuilding my nest when I heard the sounds of talons hitting stone. Looking over at the sound I saw Stormfly walking over to me, so I lay down to be closer to her height.

Stormfly : "hey y/n..."

y/n / Strax : "greetings..."

Stormfly : "so... who was that dragon back there?"

y/n / Strax : "ah... yes i suppose that would be a good place to start... His name is Cham, and he is... was... a very close friend back in my homeland... he had followed my scent here to ask me to join him and a group of other powerful creatures to... eradicate all humans... he had also come to inform me of another dear friends passing by the hands of hunters..."

At my explanation Stormfly looks saddened and concerned as I hear a soft thump in the background...

Stormfly : "your... you're not going to join them, are you?"

y/n / Strax : "no, of course not... but that decision will put me at odds with him and very possibly others who survived..."

Stormfly : "I'm so sorry about that... that's a horrible situation.
