I park out the front of Alek's gym, turn off the car and smile when I look over at the passenger seat and find Ariadne sound asleep.
Her beauty never ceases to amaze me. Her full lips are pouty, her long eyelashes touch her cheeks and her hair frames her face so perfectly that she looks like a fucking angel.
Fucking hell, she's breathtaking.
The sleeves of my hoodie conceal her arms and hands from my view and the bottom of my hoodie only allows me to see her legs from below her knee.
Her legs are pulled up onto the seat and her hands-that are covered by the sleeves of my hoodie- are wedged between the side of her face and the back of the seat.
I can't stop myself from reaching out to brush a stray strand of hair out of her face so I can admire her further.
I've got to be the luckiest man alive.
A soft sigh of contentment slips from between her temping lips the minute I touch her hair and slowly run my thumb over her smooth cheek.
"It should be impossible to love someone this much" I whisper to myself and shake my head with fascination
She stirs and then shivers when I run my thumb down her cheek and over her lips. I reluctantly pull my hand away before I wake her.
I get out of the car and close the door as quietly as possible before I round the car and open her side of the door.
I unbuckle her seatbelt and carefully place one of my arms under her thighs and the other around her back.
I hold my breath as if doing so would ensure I don't wake her as I slowly lift her out of the car while being careful of her head.
Her head rests against my chest while I kick the car door shut as quietly as possible with my foot. I wince when it makes a noise and I look down at Ariadne with worry that I might've woken her.
She stirs a little and mumbles something incoherent in her sleep but then she nuzzles her face into my neck and sighs.
My heart squeezes at how adorable she is even when she's sleeping. I tighten my hold on her body and make my way to the front door.
