I sat by Danny's hospital bed holding his hand and rubbing it with my thumb. He had the chip removed and was just recovering after the surgery. Finally he was waking up and looked at me in confusion. "Why am I here?" He asked.

"You had a chip in your stomach. It was hidden in the banana for some reason. Probably some dealer put it in there." I said and chuckled. "I'm going to go and get a drink." I got up and walked out of the room to get some coffee.

I came back with some water for Danny and my coffee. "May I just ask, what is my doctor called?" Danny questioned. "Doctor Henderson and there is also a nurse. Why?" I asked back.

"A man called the Doctor came in and took the chip away. He didn't look like a doctor though. He was wearing some weird tweed jacket and a bow tie."

"Which way did he go?" Danny pointed to the left. I put down my coffee and chased after this Doctor.

Trying not to hit anyone while running and making my way downstairs was hard. I eventually got outside and saw the man walking to some sort of blue box. I continued to run after him. "Hey! Come back here." I yelled. I caught up with the Doctor and grabbed his arm. "You better tell me what the heck is going on with this chip and my boyfriend." The Doctor reclaimed his arm and smiled.

"You really want to know?" He asked. I nodded with my arms crossed waiting for an answer. "The thing that nearly killed your boyfriend was a chip. It can change your mind and turn you into a servant for some metal men-"

"You are talking total rubbish!" I interrupted.

"Then why did you ask?"

"Because you show up and all of a sudden my boyfriend is in hospital because of a situation that you are dealing with." The Doctor seemed calm. It was strange seeing as a random woman was shouting at him. "What's your name?"

"Chloe. Why?"

"Just wondering. I hope your boyfriend gets better soon." Then he walked away.

I got back to the room and the nurse was helping Danny move about. "Excuse me nurse..." I paused to look at his name on his ID. "Nurse Williams. There is a man outside that stole the chip from this hospital. He called himself the Doctor and must be some mad man or something because he was making up stories." Nurse Williams looked shocked then annoyed.

"Why does he always get himself into trouble?" He mumbled. "You're free to go now Danny." Then he ran out of the room. He must have known him and it may have happened before. Me and Danny left the hospital and went home.

When we got home it was late at night when we got home so me and Danny decided to go to sleep. Everything was fine until I was woken by the sudden shots being fired outside. I went to wake Danny up but he wasn't in the bed. I went to the window and opened it. There was Danny, firing lasers out of his hand at houses, people. Anything that was around him. He turned to the block of flats that I was in and fired through my window. I ducked screaming. I had to stop this. I ran out in my pyjamas and slippers to stop Danny.

I ran outside behind Danny. "Danny, stop this!" I cried. He only turned and fired another shot at me. It skimmed my arm and I fell to the ground. It felt like something was burning me and then I couldn't help but cry. The burn hurt like hell. My boyfriend had turned into some maniac. Didn't he recognise me? Danny turned to me again and was about to shoot me again. I knew that I was going to die. The last though I would have thought would be my boyfriend shooting me with a laser that came out of his hand. Not the way I would have thought anyone would die from. Danny just stopped and shook his head as if he was waking up from something. He looked at me with shock, ran to me, knelt down and put his arm around me. "It's okay, it's okay." He whispered in my ear and gave my head a kiss. He picked me up off of the ground and we walked into our flat.

"What happened?" He asked as he was bandaging my arm. We had a first aid kit in our house for emergency and Danny's parents were doctors so they taught him all about burns and bandages and things. "I woke up and you were outside just shooting people and houses and trees and things. I went out there and you missed my chest but skimmed my arm instead." I explained. "Why?"

"I don't know. I don't remember anything. I just remember falling asleep and waking up outside."

"By the way you might find a black mark on the wall from where you shot through the open window in our bedroom."
