Naningkit ang mata ko nang makita ko siyang kinuha ang tinidor para kumain ng cake!

I thought I heard that he doesn't like sweets? Bakit siya kakain?

I cannot believe it! Sinubo niya! Ang cake! Is that how precious Evelyn's gift is? That he's willing to eat it despite disliking sweets?!

I glared at Adam. How I hate him! Tinalikuran ko na siya at magmamartsa na sana paalis nang matigilan ako sa pagharang ni Evelyn.

"Oh dear. Poor you, are you hurt that he's willing to eat my cake despite disliking it?" She smirked and glanced behind the half-opened door.

"Anong pake ko kung kainin niya?" I pretended not to be affected.

Her brows went up, obviously mocking me for lying but I will stand my ground because at the end, it's only me who knows the truth, not anyone else. So I'll take advantage of the truth that I know and try to manipulate it with my actions.

"Hmm . . . I don't think you're not affected. Kanina ka pa nakatayo diyan, pinagmamasdan si Adam."

Nagtaas ako ng kilay, "well because I was expecting you'd poison him. That would be an exciting sight." I smirked.

"I'm not crazy like you, bitch." She said mockingly.

"And I'm not desperate like you, wench." I said confidently.

Her eyes widened and she let out a disbelief laugh before attacking. Ramdam ko ang sakit ng pagsabunot niya sa buhok ko. Huh! I'm not some damsel in distress! You bitch! Inatake ko siya ng kasingsakit na pagsabunot.

She cried loud and let go of my hair but I didn't. She started it and I have no plan in ending it!

"Arabelle!" Malakas na kulog ang narinig ko.

He thought I would let go and be scared of him? No! It was her fault so she should take responsibility for it!

Mas hinigpitan ko ang kapit sa buhok niya at sinubukang alisin ito sa anit niya. Hindi ako titigil hangga't hindi ko nakakalbo ang babaeng 'to! She scratched my arms, I know a blood formed because of her long nails so I might as well finish her hair! I'll make sure no strands of hair is left on her scalp!

"Arabelle! Tigilan mi na yan!" Mainit na kamay na ang bumalot sa kamay ko. I tried to shoo it away but he's too strong.

"Bitiwan mo ako! Sinimulan niya 'to kaya paninindigan niya!" Galit kong sigaw sa lalake.

"Stop!" Hagulhol ni Evelyn, ahh . . . what a music to my ears.

"Papatayin ko si Maurnine kung hindi mo 'to ititigil!"

Doon ako natigilan. How dare he! How dare he use my father to this! Dahil sa gulat ko ay hindi ko namalayan ang lagapak ng sampal ni Evelyn sa pisngi ko.

"Evelyn!"

"You bitch! You ruined my precious hair!" Hikbi niya.

Halos hindi pa ako makagalaw sa kinatatayuan ko dahil sa lakas ng sampal niya ay hinila na ako ng lalake paalis sa lugar doon.

Natauhan lang ako nang makapasok kami sa isang silid na hindi ko kilala kanina, kaagad kong hinablot ang kamay ko at galit siyang tiningnan.

"Ano'ng karapatan mong gamitin si Papa!" Galit kong sigas sa kaniya.

"Ano? Kasalanan ko pa na hindi ka nakikinig sa akin?!" Galit niya ring sigaw.

"Hinayaan mo na lang sana kami!"
