As Gavin entered my house one more time, he saw me sitting with my bags, ready to leave with him. And that lunatic bastard smiled at my face as if I am some clown giving my performance and dancing in front of him.

“What’s so funny Gavin?”

Now my irritation would crack my skull and flow out off it.

“Nothing. I just loved how you are waiting.”

He spoke controlling his smile and I rolled my eyes.

“Stop laughing before I tear that off your face.”

And he chuckled audibly. I have seen him this happy for the first time. Is he that happy? For he can save his image or is he happy that I will be living with him?

The later thought gave me butterflies deep down in guts.

“So you have made up your mind?”

He asked me and I like some Hollywood star rose myself up from the chesterfield and walked out of the house. But not before I gave him reply he deserved so much.

“If I wasn’t, would I be waiting?”

I heard a roar of his laugh as I exited my house with just hanging my handbag. Behind me Gavin came with my bags. I felt bad for him but he is the one who is dying to take me his home, so he should know how to handle me.

Gavin driving and me riding for half an hour, we finally reached our king’s castle. Getting on lift, we reached his penthouse and as soon as he opened the door, it was just amazing. My mouth opened agape looking at it.

“Are you sure you own legal business?”

I tilted my head backwards to get a better view of ceiling touching the sky. The skylight was simple yet majestic in it’s own way. It allowed visual connection to outdoor environment. I wonder, how beautiful it will look at night with stars like diamond studding black velvet blanket or the time when the large raindrops will pour on the top of the skylight glass.

Not receiving an answer from Gavin, I closed my mouth and turned to face him. But comparatively, his face turned paler. His white skin turned lifeless like a white sheet.

“Are you okay? I was not questioning your job or anything. I was just fooling around.”

He just nodded his head in reply. What? Don’t tell me he took my that comment seriously.

“I will show you rest of the house.”

“After you.”

We begin with exploring his luxurious pent house. We already were in living area equipped with chesterfield, centre table and different marble statues. It had curtain wall occupying the left portion of the area, and beyond which was the balcony having kitchen garden, tea table and swing. Okay I got a perfect place to meditate. Perfect plus beautiful.

Living area connected to the kitchen, where what not utensils were available. A modular kitchen with every bit of small to large items in it.

After we had explored living area, balcony, and kitchen, we ascended the steps to reach the first floor. It had two wings, east and west. We first went to the west side. Gavin’s mind, always active for the left side.

“This is my room. Which most probably you don’t need to see. Anyways you already have seen it.”

I nodded my head in agreement. But what he said after that, got my cheeks and ears turn warm from the amount of blood rushed to there, in my vessels.

“Of course after you ran off from my arms.”

I decided not to reply him. What I should reply him with? He knows how to turn a girl scarlet.
