11. Past is Past

A much younger looking Tzuyu who is still in her school uniform is pinned against the lockers of an empty classroom by another girl whose hair can be seen cut just right above the shoulder from behind.

"Wait." The future veterinary doctor tries to break from the hold but it seems that the other student is stronger. "Let's not do this here—"

However, Tzuyu wasn't able to protest long because a pair of lips had claimed her mouth. She wasn't responding to it at the first couple of seconds but proving her human, Tzuyu melted into the kiss.

Shortly after, the moment the other girl released Tzuyu's arms, she promptly used it to ruffle the other girl's short hair, contradicting her behavior minutes ago of seeming to not want this make out session they are now doing.

Suddenly, the future vet doctor's phone vibrated in the pocket of her skirt. She hesitantly breaks the kiss to see it. The other pair of lips that have been kissing the tall girl just smirks and hovers down to kiss Tzuyu's neck while the latter takes on the call.

"Yeob— Yeoboseyo?" The tall girl surely is having a hard time speaking well with someone doing wonders on her neck. "Chae—"

"Tzu!"

Tzuyu immediately scrunches her eyebrows. She checked the caller ID again that displays 'Chae' before bringing it back to her ears. "Jeong— Jeongyeon Oppa?"

The lips that had been busy distracting Tzuyu abruptly stopped for a second.

"Why do you have Chaeyoung— Hmm." However, the girl that has been kissing Tzuyu all over continued again, making the tall girl a mess of a caller. "Umm— W— Wae?"

"Are you still with your Momo Unnie?" Jeongyeon's voice sounded troubled. "I have been trying to reach her but she's not answering my calls. At first I thought you were just busy shopping together but it has been a whole day now so I started to get worried."

Tzuyu glares at the shoulder bag laid down in one of the desks in the classroom, not too far from them. Then, she puts the phone down, away from her mouth and gently pushes the girl who has been kissing her, consecutively whispering to her. "Why did you not respond to his calls? What should I tell him?"

Momo rolls her eyes and steals the phone from Tzuyu's hand. "Hey, babe."

"Baby!" Jeongyeon's voice suddenly shifts into something cheerful. "So, you're still at the mall with Tzu?"

"Nah. We're on our way home. Sorry for not answering your calls. Your little sister is just so..." Momo gives Tzuyu a glance. "So enjoyable to be with that I even forget to check my phone."

"Ugh. That is too much sister time! You have to get back to the dorm now and spend more boyfriend time with me!"

"Okay, okay. We'll be there in like... thirty minutes? Don't miss me too much."

Jeongyeon replies in a pouty tone. "But I already started missing you the moment you stepped out of the university earlier."

"Aww." Momo chuckles. "I'll make it up to you, okay?"

"Okay! Bye, baby!" The future chef giggles from the other line. "I love you!"

"Hmm. Me too."

Tzuyu quickly snatches the phone from Momo's hand after hearing the other girl say goodbye. "We really have to stop doing this."

"Hey." Chaeyoung sits beside Tzuyu who is seated in the general waiting area of the hospital. The time on the wall clock says seven. There are nurses chatting on the nurse's station while there are doctors roaming around the vicinity.
