"Hmm?" A younger looking Nayeon raises an eyebrow at a group of giggling boys a meter away from the entrance of their university. She is carrying a laptop bag on her right shoulder and she is still on her skirt and blouse that is their school uniform.

"She's gorgeous."

"She's too tall."

"But her uniform says she's not from our school."

She slows the pace of her legs as she subtly scoffs and shakes her head at the boys who are pushing each other like teenagers in pure bliss with whoever they have been eyeing at in one direction.

Nayeon's curiosity got the best of her as her adjusted walking pace makes sure she gets a glimpse of the person who her schoolmates are obviously fancying at.

After seconds of guiding her sight to her supposed target, her eyes widened at the familiar figure.

Tzuyu is standing right in front of the future cafe owner's university gates and has her head focused on her toes, looking a bit shy with the unsolicited attention she is getting.

Nayeon quickens her feet immediately and walks to the taller girl. "Tzuyu!"

"Oh." The younger girl's face immediately glowed up after recognizing the other student. "Nayeon Unnie!"

"What are you doing here?" The cafe owner glances around. "You know that you're a sight to behold here, don't you?"

"Ahh." Tzuyu shyly scratches her nape. "I— I'm sorry."

Nayeon chuckles. "Ya! What are you sorry for?! Anyway, why are you here?"

"Right. That— Umm..." The younger girl looks down to her toes again. "Are you free right now?"

"Huh?" Nayeon pouts. "What's with the sudden question?"

"I was— Umm... I was wondering if you'd like to get some coffee."

"Huh?"

Tzuyu shakily exhales. "I know we already finished your thesis but... maybe I can help you with something else?"

Nayeon squints at her in heightened confusion. "Tzuyu-ssi... I— I'm not following... I mean— We're on different courses and we're not freshmen so we are kind of already done with most of our minor, overlapping subjects. I don't think my units are—"

"Just—" The future vet doctor cuts the other girl off. "Just... Umm... Let's just get coffee."

The older girl blinks at her in innocence. "For...?"

"For— Umm..." Tzuyu guides her sight back to Nayeon. She clicks her tongue as if her patience abruptly ran out thin. "Just for the hell of it."

Nayeon then bursts into chuckles. "You're weird, Tzuyu-ah."

The future veterinarian seems to still be in her serious mode though. "Your answer?"

"AH—" Nayeon tries to calm herself and simply leaves a tender smile on her face. "Okay. Let's have some coffee together." She playfully trails under her breath as the two of them begin walking side by the side. "For the hell of it."

I am walking back to my brother's restaurant office and my mind has been awfully occupied with that girl and the conversation I just had with her and that unnecessary behavior I just showed.
