*little Ava's pov*
"It shouldn't be that difficult," the old witch said to me very matter of fact.
"Then why can't you do it?" I asked her. She took the small trinket I was playing with in my hands and put it back with the rest of her belongings she was selling.
"Because I'm old. And you shouldn't have much to do. The school year is ending soon." She snapped.
"I'm a 5th year, I have OWLs" I groaned. " i don't have time to be looking for a damn unicorn."
The old with rolled her eyes and crossed her arms, "Then that means you should do it fast. It'll be easy she's nice."
"Yeah, I thought it'd be easy too until you said you saw poachers near by." I groaned. "Im trying to be really nice... but will I get some kind of payment for this?"
"You cheap little Bi-"
"Alright I got everything I needed," Sebastian said as he walked out of the parchment shop and shoved new rolls of parchment into my leather bag. He looked between me and the lady confused. "This your grandmother?" He asked.
The lady scoffed offended.
"She lost her unicorn and wants help finding it."
"How do you loose a unicorn?" He asked the woman.
"I saw you two take on those Ogres, so can you do it or not?" She asked me.
I groaned, "fine, but if it takes me longer then a few hours you are shit out of luck."
"And people say Americans are hardworking..." she grumbled as I started to turn away.
I began to spin back around but Sebastian grabbed my shoulders and kept me from turning. "We'll let you know ma'am," he smiled as he steered me away.
"People in Hogsmead can be so rude sometimes!" I groaned.
"Oh come on, she just wants her unicorn. And maybe this will let you let off steam from that thing you've been doing and not telling me about."
"Don't start, I'm still not telling you. It's better this way."
Sebastian pouted and silently walked next to me. We continued walking peacefully towards the forest entrance in silence for a minute longer.
"That maintenance guy is weird right?" He finally asked.
"Yes!" I agreed.
"He just appears out of no where all the time!"
"He does that to you too?" I asked.
"Yes! Do you think that's his real name?"
I scoffed, "obviously not,"
"I wonder if he's an auror,"
"If he is he shouldn't be an undercover. He's horrible at it."
"Maybe he's investigating Ranrok as well?" He asked as we stopped at the small bridge.
