Eleazar's pov

"Muuum.." I said as I peeked in the front door slowly.

"El, you are twenty-seven, if you bring an animal home it is your responsibility." She sighed as she picked up the twins robes from the couch.

"No, not that," I shook my head and opened the door more so she'd see Sara.

"Ah!" Mum threw up the robes and ran over to hug her tightly. "My little Sara!!"

"Hello," was all Sara could get out with how tight mum was hugging her.

Dad popped his out from the hallway with a toothbrush sticking out of his mouth. And shirtless, as he usually is when the kids aren't home.

"Really?" I ask him and gesture at his chest.

"It's my house!" He says with the tooth brush still in his mouth.

"Sebastian, go get dressed. You'll break Sara. And embarrass your son." Mum shooed him away.

"Yes, my love." He sighed and walked away.

Mum lead Sara in and sat her on the couch while she smiled widely. "Oh you just missed the twins! They went back to campus."

"It's okay." Sara said softly.

Mum looked between the two of us. "What are you doing here?"

Sara looked at me quickly and then back at Mum. "I just wanted a little vacation... I guess coming to a world where my husband lives is probably not the best idea if I'm avoiding him." Sara lied effortlessly as she laughed.

"I can make Sebastian stay in our room," mum began to say.

Sara laughed. "No no, it's fine." She leaned over the side of the couch. "I see you hiding,"

After a second dad walked out, now fully clothed, and walked into the kitchen.

"So, how is everything over there?" Mum asked her.

Sara got choked up a bit, mum definitely noticed but she didn't say anything. "Things are good," Sara finally got out.

I looked up from them and my dad was eyeing me. When we made eye contact he motioned for me to go into the kitchen.

When I walked in he handed me a two mugs. "Why is she here?" He asked in a hushed tone.

"Who ever took Ava, took her daughter." I muttered. "She thinks it's a child of Isadora, that took them."

Dad took the kettle off the stove and looked out the window as he thought. "Isadora had a child?"

"Their Isadora, not ours, but yes. A son it seems. Sara says he's a giant."

"Literally?" Dad looked at me surprised.

"Sorry," I looked at him, "bad choice of words. He's very tall. Taller than you."

Dad shrugged, "what are you going to do?" He asked me.

"I don't think it's just him."

"You think theirs a second person?"

"I do, I'm just.. not sure why..." I looked out the window at the sunflower field as a surge of ancient magic went through the air. "A feeling,"

Dad kept looking at me, "your eyes just glowed. Thirty years and it's still creepy."

"Yeah... I felt that. Excuse me."

I walked into the front room where mum and Sara were quietly looking around. Mum opened her mouth to speak but I beat her to it, "yeah, I'll check it out. You stay with Sara."
