Eleazar's pov
Another fireball flew at the poor training dummy making it shiver with fear.
Ro immediately glanced at dad, Andre and I to see if that was what we had seen that night. She panted heavily as she looked at us with wide hopeful eyes.
I sighed and shook my head, "it was bigger,"
She let out a small feral sound as she stomped her foot making a small ring red magic shoot out. Dad jumped a tiny bit and scooted closer to me.
"She's terrifying." He mumbled.
"She saves children," I reminded him softly.
"She does it terrifyingly."
I sighed, "Ro let's take a break, you're scaring my father."
She walked up to us with her hair up in a messy bun. "I'm sorry. I'm trying hard for you guys," she sighed.
"Why are you apologizing?" I asked confused.
"You don't need to apologize. We asked you for help. You didn't have to help us." My dad added. "We don't want you to over work yourself."
"Want me to make you some tea?" Andre asked.
"No no, you're my guest." She waved her hand quickly in front of herself. "Besides... he's been watching from the window the entire time."
The three of us turned around to see Sebastian sulking in the window with his arms crossed in front of him. He looked annoyed but I noticed his eyes never left her.
True love, definitely. I wonder if Ro realized.
"I thought Anne and Willa was distracting him." My father asked.
"They probably got bored... he seems like a bit of a downer.." Andre mumbled the last part.
"Hey," my dad and Ro both said to him.
"Sorry.."
My dad stood up and walked across from the training dummy, eyeing it in a serious manner. The training dummy stopped shaking as it could sense the lack of ancient magic in Dad. Which seemed to irritate him.
Dad raised his wand before silently casting a confringo maxima. The ball of fire was ginormous as it flew towards the poor dummy that didn't have time to move away and just accepted its fate as the fireball crashed into it almost making the protective charm on it break.
Andre and I stood up with our eyes wide. Dad looked back and forth between us and the dummy that was fixing its self. Ro looked a little jealous. I wonder if she's competitive like mum.
"Was that what it looked like?" Ro asked.
"Almost.." I said in a whisper.
"So it's Sallow we saw?" Andre asked.
"Was it me?!" Dad asked, a tad too excited.
"Can.. can you make it a bit bigger?" I asked.
"You want bigger? Did you see that just now?" He asked offended.
"You almost broke the charm on the dummy that lets out build itself again. You have to break it. That mean the charm on the door would break." I explained.
The dummy turned to me. Probably thinking that if the wand in its hand was real it would attack me.
There was a small tap on my shoulder and when I looked over my shoulder Abigale was standing there with her cheeks red. Did she have a bit of make up on? I glanced at the doorway just in time to see Willa pull away from view.
I stifled back any thing mean or as Willa says 'sassy' to say and looked at Abigale. "Yes?" I asked.
"Are we able to talk? Or.. we can talk later..."
"He can talk now," Andre answered.
"Take him we don't need him," my dad said at the same time.
I glanced at Ro. My last hope. "He's done here for now you can borrow him," she smiled.
I sighed and followed Abigale behind the cottage. She paced back and forth for a while before saying anything. She finally stopped and turned towards me.
"Eleazar.. I.."
I was already pulling her in by the skirt of her dress and kissing her lips gently. One thing I definitely got from my parents was being bad at staying mad at others. I wrapped my arms around her waist so she would feel more comfortable.
She pulled back a tiny bit and looked into my eyes. Her face bright red. "Why?" She asked.
"Yeah... I kinda forgave you a day later."
"I'm so sorry." I hugged her tightly as she began to cry into my shoulder. "I shouldn't even be the one crying right now." She mumbled as she wiped her eyes.
I leaned my forehead against hers and smiled. "It's okay. I'm really glad you came."
She shut her eyes and smiled softly. "I want to help any way I can."
I grinned and kissed her forehead. "Great. Let me tell you what Anne and I have been thinking about."
