"So it breaks my heart that I let you leave
Hurts my head seeing memories of you
There ain't a thing I wouldn't do
To get a moment back with you" - JVKE

Ava's pov

Silence.

That's all I heard. But I saw my whole life flashing before my eyes. From being born, to meet Sebastian. My first year as a teacher. All of it. Up until the very last-

"Ava!" Sebastian yelled while frantically looking around in that cold night in Germany. "Ava!"

It all played over and over. It felt like an eternity.

Until.

"Back already?" Professor Fig's voice made my eyes snap open. I was once again in the white library. And yes, Everything was still white.

The professor was sitting near the fire with a book in hand that was almost completed.

"I thought it'd be a bit longer since you came back."

"You know.. it isn't a normal day if I don't die. Wish I knew how though." I ran my fingers through my hair  slowly.

Fig closed his book and took a long breath. "Well... if I know.. and I'm in your head that means you know," he looked at me.

I looked at him before looking into the fireplace where the white flames licked the white log. "I mean... I don't know exactly. But it has something to do with my children, probably."

Fig smiled, "they did their best. They're still doing their best."

"I know," I smiled and put my elbows on my on knees and rested my face in my hands. "I raised some good kids,"

"Would you like to see what they are doing?" He asked calmly.

"You can do that?" I asked.

"We're dead, we can do a lot." He waved his hand towards the fire and suddenly the flames started to change color. I realized that it was showing me something. Almost like it was being projected on to the flames.

"Eleazar.." I smiled warmly as I watched him cleaning his glasses before putting them on. "Where.. where are they?"

Eleazar's pov

"Okay.. goal is to get that door open and unarmed Eleazar," I explained to them as I cleaned my glasses with the corner of my shirt.

We were all standing in Ro's living room with a blue door waiting to go home.

"Or.. counter point, kill him." Anne suggested as she shrugged.

"No. Mum would probably kick our asses if we did that. So we'll give him a chance, and if he doesn't..." everyone looked at me. "Yeah."

"I'm going to stay back," Andre said to everyone making us hesitate. "I can open a door myself. That's how I picked your dad up. But if this works I need to find those who disappeared, like Ava and Anne. They both disappeared in Germany."

"Thank you Andre," dad nodded.

"The rest of us..." I started to say as I glanced at Willa.

She blinked a few times before realizing I was even looking at her. "Oh, you aren't getting rid of me." She smiled.

"Alright, Willa goes," I sighed and opened the doorway.  I peaked in and looked around. Great hall. Alright.

I pulled back in and looked at Ro and her Sebastian. She smiled, and with only hesitation for a moment, she reached forward and hugged me. "You got this," she whispered.
