Adventure Nineteen

Eleazar's pov

"They aren't going to like me," Eleazar sighed as I opened the red door in the front yard.

"They will,"

"They won't," he insisted.

"Both of you shush!" Mum said as she checked her hair once more in the mirror that hung in the hallway. "I'm nervous enough as it is." She stepped out and smiled at us.

"Nothing.. against her.. but why is your mum going?" He asked, earning him a dirty look.

"I'll get yelled at if I don't."

"By who?" He asked. I threw my hands up.

"Wait! El!" Anne yelled making us both turn around and go 'yup.' She rolled her eyes and walked up handing Eleazar a pair of glasses. "You've been squinting since we met."

"Is that my second pair I haven't been able to find?" I asked.

She ignored me and smiled as he took the pair and put them on. We both looked at each other and blinked a few times. "Better?" She asked.

"Yes actually." He smiled a tiny bit.

"Wonderful," she turned to leave, pinching me for no good reason, and went back into the house.

"Look if you want a sister that badly you can bloody take her," I mumbled as I rubbed my arms.

"Eleazar," mum warned.

"Eleazar!" Newts voice made me spin around immediately.

"Newt!" I waved to him as he ran down the dirt path.

"Your uncle just told me what you did." He said as he pulled me into a tight hug. I hugged him back tightly.

I watched Eleazar glance at Mum confused. "They greet each other like this every time," mum sighed. "He never greeted me like this.."

"I asked Tina to marry me," newt smiled.

"I'm sorry, you what?"  I said confused.

Newt smacked my shoulder and he smiled widely. "Tina. I asked her to marry me. I want you to be my best man."

"I.. I have a girlfriend." Was all I could get out.

"I'm sorry, you what?" He said mimicking me.

"A girlfriend, I have one."

We both stared at each other before smiling again and hugging each other.

"There's another you behind you. Hello, Professor."

"There is. I'm taking him to a potential new home right now. Uh.. three broom sticks tonight?"

"I'll bring Tina." Newt shrugged.

"I'll attempt to bring Abigale."

"Newt congratulations. But you came all this way just to tell him that?" Mum asked.

"Well. When Andre came to see Dumbledore catch Grindelwald he let me know what happened. It was news to big Anne as well."

"I'm pretty sure she doesn't like being called 'big Anne." My mum whispered.

"There's more Anne's?" Eleazar asked at the same time.

"Yes and No, it's our Aunt Anne," I explained. "And so what, Newt? I fixed everything. And got my magic back."

"He stole it from it," Eleazar sighed.

"I did. It was deserved though. He killed my mum." I nodded and patted his shoulder.
