Eleazar's pov

"Where are you going?" Mum asked as I reached for the front door.

"Out?" I said nervously.

"Is it related to that girl your dad told me about?" I looked over my shoulder at her and she stood behind me smiling.

"Ye.. yeah." I let myself smile back.

"Will you bring her to meet me?"

"Maybe."

"Do you feel better?" She asked as I turned to leave again. "You have the ancient magic again.."

"I kinda stole it from another me." I shrugged. "I feel better.. but I feel like I caused everything."

"It could have happened anyway. Maybe you are always supposed to go back." She sat on the couch and sighed. "I'd know but.. I was obliviated." She shrugged.

"I.."

"You're lucky you're an adult."

"I know,"

"I'd take your wand."

"I know,"

"Maybe your ability to do magic all together for a little bit."

"I'm aware Mum."

She smiled at me. "Have a good date, El." Damn, she was scary.

"Yup, bye Mum." I rushed out of the house before she decided she'd ground me anyway.

I exited the door way near the map chamber entrance. When I shut the door the ground shook making me look around quickly.

"El," Abigale's voice made me melt immediately as I spun around to face her. She wasn't wearing a black dress anymore. She now wore a tight brown pants, a cream colored button up blouse with a green plaid riding coat on top. Her hair was in a high ponytail and I knew my face was already blushing.

"Abigale, what is going on?"

She hurried up to me and took my hands. "Ranrok. It's time. Let's go."

"Wait. We shouldn't be involved." I hesitated as she tried to head into the map chamber.

"It's fine. We'll stay back from afar. Ranrok must have sensed the magic once I out the repository back where it had been taken from." She dragged me down the stairs and past the map chamber. As we went down farther down we can start to hear spells being casted and goblins yelling. "I'm shocked that little version of your dad isn't here."

"My aunt Poppy and uncle Ominis are taking care to of that."

Abigale smiled at me confused. "What, are they holding him down or something?"

"Among... other things."

She blinked a few times as she probably thought of all the shit they could do to stop him from running down here. "Teenagers scare me." I nodded in agreement.

"There's more!" A goblin voice yelled as it fired an arrow at us.

I pulled Abigale out of the way deflected the arrow before using ancient magic and flinging the goblin across the giant cavern. His yells growing quieter the farther he went.

The ground shook making everyone fighting stop for a second. "I.. think Ranrok just transformed..." I mumbled.

"He What!?" Abigale squeaked.

"I gotta go," I turned to Abigale and put both hands on her shoulders, "I'll be right back,"

"You just said you can't get involved."
