In the bone room Brennen was trying to piece together a skull and Angela was with her talking to her about her how she spent the night at Todd's asking her if she remembered Todd how he was a bass player how he had big hands and nibble hands. Brennen reminded her that she was trying to put a skull together. Angela told her she was doing great then continues to say that in the morning she wakes up he's sitting there no clothes on just has his bass and he's singing to her which was creepy. Brennen cuts her off to ask her if this was really the time or place for this convo wondering if it wasn't inappropriate for work. Angela said she was into alive people and that Todd had a friend. Brennen said she thought she said he was creepy. Yes Angela agreed Todd not the friend. And then Zack runs in to interrupt she hoped it was work related and then he said the anthropology journal was going to publish (some anthropology thing of theirs I have understanding over)

Brennen felt this was a great thing to stop working for unlike what Angela was talking about and then she was confused when he wanted to fist bump her. She asked him why he told her that he heard it was a mutual gesture of success. Angela was amused she told them she loved when the two of them tried to impersonate earthlings as she put it. And then Jack walked in with a box. He felt it was weird but said some guy in the lounge asked him to give Brennen some kind of box. As he slid it over to her. Angela asked if he was alive meaning the man in the lounge because this was a great way to start a relationship she teased. He told Brennen that she would know who he was after she opened the box. A guy that gets her to stop working I gotta see this Angela teased. They walked out of the bone room and there was a man Michael standing there he said he was there to return some stuff to her in person she reminded him that was 3 years ago. He said it was his first time he'd been in Washington and wanted to give it to her in person.

Why didn't you tell me you were coming? She asked him. What if you didn't answer my call? You're a big famous author now he claimed. She told him to go down he told her to come up they compromised and met in the middle as usual as he put it. I hope you don't have any expectations she asked him. He asked if she did. She wanted them to be civil with each other. He agreed to those terms. She was happy to see him as she smiled up at him but wanted to know why he was there. Apparently one of the colleges wanted him to be like the head of their anthropology department or something and felt they probably already asked Brennen but she said she already had a job and felt that they would be lucky to have him. Jack felt this was like watching cars Angela knew this had to be Michael guessing enough from what they had already said Jack asked if they were close Angela just said mmh and nodded along. She felt since he was there they should have dinner that night he said it seemed reasonable. Though she said it seemed like they should and he agreed. As if it were an obligation since he was in town.

And then the two of us (outfit 11)came in and some of the FBI guys were bringing in a fridge as they set it down wherever my brother asked them to. Hey Bones we got a present for you he started. It's from an illegal revine straight from a dump from Fairfax he told her. Everyone started making their way up to the fridge he told her that his team made sure it was human remains. And how he brought the fridge directly to her. After all he didn't want to open it himself and risk her yelling at him for possibly contaminating evidence. Hm made me wonder who was exactly in charge around here? He IS the FBI agent here not here. Shouldn't he be the one upset if things like that happen? Why is she in charge? They don't even need her. Jack said they needed a toaster oven and Brennen had yet to say anything as she approached the fridge and gave it a sniff she knew the body had already begun to decompose. She knew the body had already mostly been decomposed which was Angela's cue to leave. And then they opened the door. Michael felt this was the fun part as Seeley took a crowbar to get it open. The remains were already liquifying. Seeley and I backed up to let Brennen do her thing he asked her if it was he or a she then they talked about how old the victim had been.
