This week at least while Seeley Brennen and I were out of town and Layla was in school I had called on Jason to see if he was available to look after her. Had he not had been it would've been ok I had Nanny and Monica and the bodyguards and Lauren was nearby and I didn't want to inconvenience him he had a real actual job to do and I couldn't always count on him to drop whatever he was doing and come help us. He was doing something important he had other clients other celebrities other singers actors bands to be the manager of or be backstage helping clients ordering people for PR stuff or helping the rest of the band with school stuff. He wasn't my boyfriend nor my husband. He didn't owe us anything he'd already done so much for us and he's paying for us to live in one of his extra houses and donating to the museum. And right now (outfit 19) Seeley and Brennen were down in the sewer tunnel looking for a dead body 60 feet underground or whatever I had my brother take some kind of walkie talkie since I wasn't going down there I'm not a climber or a fan of the idea that a rope could break at any moment. I didn't trust anyone but the people I've let in and out of my house.
If it were Jason holding the rope I'd trust him he's strong enough. But he wasn't here. We were somewhere in Wisconsin and Massachusetts (even though that is physically impossible because they're not right next to each other) He also said near the national Cathedral. (Ok never mind that makes sense cause it's also a street name) Zack was with us asking how far down they were because he felt they were very far down. They were talking about the rope and climbing and how it was the only way to get to the body. Once they were all down there they saw rats picking at rotting flesh. A cop came to give them the scoop of what had happened while my brother asked them about some shaft above them the cop told them that it was utility tunnel for accessing the steam pipes. Brennen asked to see his gun Seeley asked why. She promised him she wasn't gonna shoot anyone and that after months of working together it should would be nice if they had some trust. She took the gun and fired at the rats. She said now the rats would leave the remains alone and eat each other. But he had to write a form that said what he used his weapon for. She told Zack to get pictures said the rats scattered the remains. How her body fell and basically shattered on impact due to the fall. How the bones in the legs were broken below the knee how the spine was compressed and shattered.
Seeley was confused by the her part when she said her body and she said yes she hoped that she was dead before the rats got to her. He asked her if she knew how long she'd been down there. She said that they'd have to check with Jack on the bugs and we'd have our answers but she told us that rats can snip at a body in a couple of days. Though Seeley didn't believe it. He agreed shirt and pants but not the jacket or shoes. But she wasn't listening she was busy chasing down some guy in the dark tunnels while Seeley chased after trying to tell her she couldn't run off and do things like that. She noticed that he didn't have a light how had to have known what was down there which my brother felt was creepy Brennen felt that he probably lived down there. When we got back to the lab she told us the victim's name was Marni Hunter that she was 24 and was about 5.6. how she was left handed and was a documentary filmmaker. Seeley told us that fiancée reported her missing 10 days ago Brennen asked him if they caught the guy Seeley called him a mole man and said no. Jack said he'd heard about those people how they patch into electrical grids and some even tap cable and that he sets time of death for 10 days the day that the missing report was filed.
When Jack talked about bugs my brother didn't need anymore proof. Because we wanted to make sure he was right. He and Brennen spoke of how she fell at 40 feet and landed feet first. Which is what crushed her Tibias in the first place. But it wasn't what killed her turned out she had her skull sustained injuries that were inconsistant with with her fall. Zack told us that they found blood traces and bone chips on pieces of exposed pipe and rebar jutting from the side of the ventilation shaft. So he asked if that was what had killed her. They told him no that her fingernails were clean. He begged her to please tell him but she said that she could've been just unconscious. Which bring us to Seeley's office. When they asked the fiancée why he didn't report her sooner he said that she was immersed in her work and how it wasn't odd for her to stay in the field and not come home. Brennen seemed to understand completely that you can get caught up working on a project and time gets away from you. Admitted he didn't worry about her being where she had been because she went to a lot of places and he was just glad to have her home. I'm guessing down is where we were in comparison.
