35. Unhappy Welcome

"Blitz, so good to see you."

I grind my teeth at the sound of her voice. If I bite down any harder I probably won't have any teeth left. Looking to Blane he seems oblivious to the tension between the two of us and I release a heavy sigh at the disaster this is bound to bring.

"Why are you here?" I ask harshly, the tone of my voice likely making me sound more of a bitch than I intended.

Talia smiles, a knowing look in her eyes as she turns to Blane. "Baby, do you want to tell her."

"Baby." I reiterate, my body temperature rising with every second I look at her. The smirk on her face tells me all I need to know, she knows exactly what she's doing and the amusement in her eyes shows just how much she's enjoying this.

"Blitz." Blane scratches his head with a light smile, "This is my girl Talia."

My eyes widen in disbelief and I pause, "Park the car. What happened to Callie?"

"Doesn't matter all that does now is Talia."

I bite my lip with so much force I think I may break the skin. Taking a deep breath I turn so I can miss the look of satisfaction I know is present on Talia's face.

The scene now brings Isa and Rhea to my side while Gake saunters into the cabin.

"Talia, I see you've found something new to sink your teeth in." Rhea bites looking just as annoyed with the current situation as I am.

"More like someone and I'd like to think he found me."

"So is she like your girlfriend now?" I question.

"It doesn't matter. I'll see you inside." Blane wastes not another second pulling Talia along with him and into the cabin.

"I cannot believe this." I curse conserving my reaction so I don't get upset enough to do something I'll regret. This is supposed to be relaxing and me starting shit with Talia won't help Blaze in the slightest.

"You don't think?" Rhea frowns.

I shake my head with a huff not knowing what to think. "I don't know. I know her and she didn't just come here for Blane."

"Why would he even sleep with her?"

I shrug wanting to know the answer to Isa's question myself but honestly, from the look on Blane's face, I'm sure this was just shit luck. "I don't think he even knows her. He was with Callie and now he brings Talia."

"Come on." Rhea nods to the cabin, "let's not keep them waiting any longer."

I groan but relent as she and Isa pull me along and into the cabin. Talia and Blane are sitting on the couch, her eyes hooked on me as she cuddles into his chest with a sinister sweet smile.

"Blane, can I talk to you please?"

"If this is about..."

"Please, Blane."

"Okay." He kisses Talia and follows me into the kitchen.

I don't even have the chance to get a word in because as soon as the door closes he speaks. "Look I get you guys don't like Talia but please be nice while she is here."

"You do realize she's not in it for a relationship, right?"

"Yes, and neither am I."

He doesn't look too happy when he talks about it and I can't help but wonder what led him back down this path. He's back to who he was before. It wasn't too long ago we talked about how in love he was, how in love I thought he was and I just don't understand what happened. He seemed  happy and genuinely in love.
