After two and a half weeks, our supplies are slowly running out, which is why James decided to make the four-hour journey to the nearest supermarket today.

Bucky: Are you sure you don't want to come?

It's still very early in the morning and I'm still too tired to do anything.

Victoria: Yes, I am. I'll get some more sleep and then try to call Peter and Wanda. To hear what's going on on Peter's school trip and at home.

Bucky: Okay. Greet the others for me. See you later Doll.

He kisses me briefly before disappearing down the spiral staircase. I try to fall asleep again for an hour, unfortunately without success. At some point, when I'm tired of just lying in bed alone, I decide to get up, make myself a coffee and call Peter. I'm sitting at the kitchen island and unfortunately I can only reach Peter's voicemail. Well, Peter is a teenager. He'll have better things to do on a school trip than talk to his sister. I leave him a message asking him to call me when he gets the chance. Then I'll try my luck with Wanda. She answers the phone and sounds somehow upset.

Wanda: Vicky... are you alright?

Victoria: Um, yes. Why should anything be wrong?

Wanda: Do you know what time it is?

Damn, I totally forgot that we have a five hour time difference and it's only just after five in the morning there.

Victoria: Fuck....... I'm sorry Wanda, I totally forgot about the time difference. I guess I woke you up?

Wanda: Yes, but it's not that bad. My alarm would have gone off in half an hour anyway.

Victoria: Why is that? Any plans for today.

Wanda: I actually have that. Loki wants to take me to Asgard today and spend the day there.

Victoria: Really? That's cool, and a big step in your relationship.

Wanda: That's it, isn't it? He wants me to finally see where he grew up and get to know his family. So that I get to know his parents, I already know Thor.

Victoria: I'm happy for you. How do you feel about that? Are you excited?

Wanda: I'm damn excited. Meeting your partner's family is one thing, but in my case, his parents are not just any people but the rulers of Asgard.

Victoria: No reason to be nervous. They will definitely love you.

Wanda: Maybe you're right. So, how are things going in Iceland?

Victoria: Iceland is beautiful. Even though we haven't had the opportunity to see the Northern Lights yet. And..... yes, otherwise everything is great.

Wanda: Why do I hear a but? What's the matter?

Victoria: Oh... i don't know. It's probably nothing.

The silence on the other end signals to me that I should keep talking.

Victoria: When we got here there were a few magazines on the sofa table. Among other things, a bridal magazine. And..... well... James asked me how I felt about the whole topic of whether I would ever want to get married, so generally asked.

Wanda: Ok, and what's the problem?

Victoria: There is no problem. I'm just wondering, did he just ask me that because the magazine was lying around? Or had he already thought about it before? Does he want to marry me? Is he planning to propose to me? I've just had a bunch of questions in my head since then.

Wanda: Would you say yes if he asked you?

Victoria: Yes, without hesitation.

Wanda: Then stop wrecking your pretty little head and do something.

Victoria: What do you mean?

Wanda: Well, these days it's not uncommon for women to make the first move.

Victoria: Are you suggesting that I propose to him?

Wanda: Yes, why not? You love him, he loves you. Just ask him.

Victoria: I'll think about it.

Wanda: Keep me posted. I have to hang up now and start to get ready. After all, my Asgardian prince is waiting for me soon. See you soon. I love you and say hello to Bucky.

Victoria: I will. Say hello to the rest. Have fun in Asgard and I love you too.
