Thor and....... Aira

Another day where James says goodbye to me way too early in the morning. But, if everything goes well today, it might be the last time he has to leave me alone because of Colin. James told me what happened yesterday when he was at the prison with Tony. That Colin forced him to break up with me, that Colin forced him to break my heart by telling me I was good for nothing but sex. I knew that Colin was an asshole, but the fact that he is so sick that he would rather see me completely devastated than accept his defeat scares me. I'm all the happier when James tells me how he and Tony tricked Colin and got the confession from him that saved me a court hearing. However, this trick is exactly the reason why he and Tony have to go back to Pennsylvania today to give the prosecutor another statement about yesterday. As James said, it was just a formality and Colin's fate is already sealed. The fact that James won't be there again today caused Thor to offer to spend the day with me. Like yesterday with the girls, we had breakfast together before we've been trying to get the TV to work in my room for half an hour. Unfortunately without success. I have no idea what happened between yesterday and today, but somehow it must have broken overnight.

Thor: I'll write to Tony to send a repairman about the TV. But what do we do now?

Victoria: Well, we could watch movies on my laptop? 

Thor: That's a very good idea. 

He hands me my laptop from the desk and while I take care of downloading films from a streaming provider, Thor disappears to get snacks from the kitchen. A little later he is back and flops onto the bed next to me with the snacks. 

Thor: Okay, what are we watching?

Victoria: Twilight. All five movies. 

Thor: Ok, I don't know what Twilight is, but go ahead. 

Victoria: Oh my God! How can you not know what Twilight is?

Thor just shrugs his shoulders. Ok, we need to close this film education gap immediately. I start the first film and after a short time Thor seems captivated. By the time we get to the third film, he's really excited. We're currently at the point in the third film where Bella kisses Jake before he rushes into battle against the Newborn Army. 

Thor: What? Why is she kissing Jake now? Jake has been provoking this all along. 

I have to admit, watching Thor watch the movie and hearing his comments is almost more entertaining than watching the movie myself. 

Thor: These Volturi... these wannabe gods.

When Brie is killed by Felix at the end of the third part, even though she has surrendered, I even think I can see tears glistening in his eyes.

Thor: Why did they kill the little vampire? She had surrendered after all.

In fact, Thor thinks the films are so great that he can't believe that it really ends after the fifth part. He's explaining to me why the films have to continue when the door to my room flies open.

Aria: You won't believe what happened today!

Aria comes into the room and also flops onto the bed. Only after a few seconds does she seem to notice that I'm not alone. She immediately stands back up and actually kind of blushes when she sees Thor. 

Aria: Sorry, I... um, I didn't know you weren't alone.

Maybe I wasn't so wrong in my idea that Aria and Thor would be a good match. Because if I interpret Thor's look correctly, he's definitely not uninterested in her. 

Victoria: It's okay Aria. May I introduce Aria, this is Thor. Thor, this is my best friend Aria.

Thor: Aria......a beautiful name, for a beautiful woman.
