Their house was taking shape in the field. Tessa and Mariah drove over to see the progress most weekends. The builders were confident they would be finished, by the time the girls got married. They had already started to buy bits of furniture. Like a bed, a dining room table and eight chairs. They were storing the items, in a storage unit Nick had provided for them. Tessa said I can't wait for us to move all this into our new home. As she laid another flat pack down, onto the storage unit floor. Yeah, me too said Mariah. At least this place has allowed us to save and tick off things, off of our very long list of items we needed to get. That is so true said Tessa. People have also been nice, in giving us certain stuff said Mariah. I looked at our wedding list in the store the other day. A lot has been ticked off. We have things like cutlery, bedding, plates and bowels etc. We're so lucky. I'm glad the store is holding on to them, until after we can move in. Because I don't think the storage unit, dad has kindly lent us. It would have been big enough to hold it all.

Tessa laughed. Definitely not after we just saw that huge sofa today. I'm glad we could just put a deposit on it for now. All we have to do now is find the money to pay for the rest of it said Tessa as she kissed Mariah. We also have to think about getting our dresses made said Mariah. My Mom Said she could get us an appointment with Chelsea and Chloe whenever we want said, Tessa. Oh okay, well let's link up our schedules and try and work something out soon said Mariah as they locked up the unit. Because I don't know how long it takes to make wedding dresses. Do you? Well, obviously not said Tessa with a smile. I've never had a wedding dress made for me before. About a week later, Sharon, Gwen, Mariah and Tessa met Chelsea and Chloe at their studio. Where the dresses would be made. Gwen hugged them both because she'd known them for years. Gwen then introduced them to the brides and her best friend who happened to be the mother of one of the brides, Mariah. Chloe and Chelsea got Mariah and Tessa to describe to them, exactly what they liked and didn't like in a dress in general.

They then asked them what the theme would be. Seventies said Tessa. Oh wow! Said Chloe that's different. The next question said, Chelsea. Do you want to come to fittings together or separately? I have no idea said Mariah. Are the fittings done, so that we won't see one another's dresses? Asked Tessa. Because, I definitely don't want to see Mariah in her dress, before she walks down the aisle towards me. Are we having an aisle? Mariah queered. Yes, I thought we had decided this already? said Tessa. We haven't decided on the finer details yet though. But I thought we had decided on our dad's walking us down the aisle. It's the only job they have to do. Remember? To answer your question earlier, butted in Chelsea. Yes, we can do the fittings so you don't see one another. Great said Tessa. That means we can come over here in one car. The traffic was murder today. Yeah, it was, but it is a Saturday and in the middle of the day Tessa. We will probably do most of the fittings in the evenings after work said Mariah. Tessa just stood there and smiled.

Once Chloe and Chelsea had finished doing all their measurements they needed to take. It was time for them to leave. Sharon suggested they have a bite to eat somewhere, on their way home. Great idea said, Gwen. I know a lovely Italian around the corner. What are we waiting for? asked Tessa. Let's go. Because I don't know about all of you, but this girl is starving! Mariah started to laugh out loud. You're always hungry! I'm a growing girl said Tessa laughing at her statement. They talked about everything wedding over dinner. Where are we going to have the wedding? asked Sharon. Have you two had any ideas? "Mom" We've only just got engaged. We haven't even discussed a venue said Mariah whose mind was about to explode, with all the ideas Chelsea and Chloe had come up with, regarding what her wedding dress may look like. You look like you on melt down said Tessa to her future wife. It feels a little overwhelming, just talking about wedding dress designs. Let alone finding venues, and sorting out everything else to do with a wedding.

Do you want me to find a wedding planner? asked Sharon. That would take a lot of the pressure off of you and Tessa. Mariah looked at Tessa. I'm in, if that's what you would like to do, my love said Tessa. Can we think about it, Mom? asked Mariah. Of course, you can said Sharon. I'm guessing, you two haven't even talked about, what time of year you would like the wedding? asked Gwen. Nope, said Tessa. Hence why we couldn't tell Chelsea and Chloe, whether to have long sleeves or none. I think sleeves look better. Interjected Gwen. I love the idea, of maybe having an off-the-shoulder sleeve on one side said Tessa. That would really suit you said, Mariah. Tessa smiled at her and mouthed a thank you. Okay, enough brainstorming for one day. I have to open the coffee shop early tomorrow. Let's go home. Ordered Sharon. Tessa got out of the car, to say goodnight to Mariah as Gwen dropped her and her mom off first. How do you fancy a little getaway? Asked Tessa. We can have a proper sit-down and talk and relax together. And maybe, come up with some ideas about the wedding. Like what we want and don't want. That sounds wonderful said Mariah kissing her good night. Text me some dates tomorrow and I will look at my work schedule.
