Chapter 35 Children?

Tessa and Mariah's moms gave their daughters their last kisses and hugs before they departed and found their seats. Are you ready for this? Blake asked his daughter. I've been ready all my life Dad said Tessa. The music started to play. Mariah and Tessa had chosen For Ever This Way to walk down the aisle too. Tessa and her Dad started to walk. Mariah was ready. Okay let's do this, said Nick. Most definitely said Mariah. Nick opened the door, and they stepped into a corridor leading to the main event. The song got louder as they walked towards it. Good choice said, Nick. It is said Mariah as she gasped at her first sighting of Tessa. They walked towards one another. Blake and Nick shook hands, before placing a kiss on their daughter's cheeks. They then walked off to their seats. Tessa looked at Mariah. I love you she said. I love you said Mariah. Ready? asked Tessa. Yes said, Mariah. She placed her hand into Tessa's and slowly started walking towards where Kyle was standing, flanked by Cassie and Crystal who were matrons of honour. And Lola who was a bestie brides main and Kevin who was the bestie man.

They gave their bouquets to Crystal and Cassie. The final lyrics played out as they turned to face each other in front of Kyle. And then you hold me. And I lose myself in that moment. And then you start to pull me close in. And your arms are the only thing I want to know. Love let's stay forever this way. Love let's stay forever this way. The music faded away. Ladies and gentlemen. I'm here to marry these two women, Mariah and Tessa. But before we start. He retrieved a note from his pocket. I've been told to tell you. He looked at Mariah. That this wedding will be the most funkiest, grooviest and badarse wedding like the two brides, that you've ever been to. Everyone started to laugh. Right on said Mariah laughing too. Okay said, Kyle. Tessa, are you ready to do your vows? Oh me first. Okay said Tessa taking in a deep breath and exhaling just as fast. I knew today would be the happiest day of my life. Because it's the day, we would start our married life together. I'm not going to lie, I never thought I would be here. Because I gave up on love and everything that comes with it. But, you broke down all my walls. You saw all of me, the best of me, and the worst of me. They both started to laugh.

And you embraced me entirely. I can assure you, it's unlike anything I've ever seen. It fills my sole and inspires me. Every lyric, to every note to every song, is about you. And the love we share together. Because everything I've learned about love, Is because of you. I have many more songs to write. So, I can't wait for our future together. I can't believe we are actually here. Growing up, wishes like this, just didn't come true for me. And I have never had much. And then a miracle happened. The first miracle, of the two great miracles of my life. Was having Sharon as my Mom. Sharon has taught me so much. I've learned so much from her. I've learned how to love. And how important it is. So. I was ready for you when you came along. 

Even though, I didn't really know what was happening. I just thought you would be my best friend forever. And that you were an amazing person. I soon realised, however, that it was more than friendship. They laughed nervously. And the date. The first date that we set up when you held my hand. It just felt right. And looking around now. It all feels so right. I am so grateful. that you are in my life. And I swear you are magic. You are like an alchemist. Everything you touch turns to gold. And so, here we are. Committing ourselves to each other. And hopefully about to start our own family. And I know, that is going to be golden too. I also know, there are going to be good times, and there are going to be bad times. But Tessa, I promise you. They hold each other's hands at this point. I am going to be right by your side. Holding your hand, through it all. Just like I am now. Because, when we are together. There is nothing, that we can't do. I love you. And I am yours. Today, tomorrow. And forever.
