Chapter 25 Trauma!

Mariah found Tessa's number and gave the phone to her mom. It was soon apparent, that her mom had to leave a message. Hi Tessa, This is Sharon. Could you please call around our house, as soon as you can? Mariah needs to see you. She wasn't answering? questioned Mariah. No! It went straight to voice mail. Mariah looked at the time. It was now eleven O'clock. Surely, she would have finished her meeting with Sally by now? A lot has happened in the last four hours. After her mom gave her back her phone, she was going to send Tessa a personal message. She was going to write, something has happened to me. Please come quickly when you get this message.  But then I thought better of it and deleted it all. Because she knew Tessa would freak out and then drive like a mad person to get to her. When Tessa got to the Grand Phoenix, it was dead at six forty-five. She was so nervous making her way to the restaurant. She looked around to try and find Sally, but she wasn't having much luck. Err, can I help you? Are you looking for someone? asked the restaurant manager. 

Yes. I should be meeting Sally Spectra here, said Tessa. It should be for seven. I'll have a look for you, mam said the manager. He frantically looked down the list. He then picked up the phone, because he couldn't find Sally's name on the list of diners. Let alone a table booked in her name. Is there a problem? asked Tessa. There is no booking mam. But bear with me. I'm just phoning reception. They will know what's going on. Tessa had no choice but to wait until he did that. He finally, waved at her to come back over to his desk. She is a guest. Yes, I know that said Tessa abruptly. Where is she? Are you Tessa? asked the man. Yes, I am. What's that got to do with anything? Tessa was not amused. I need to see some form of ID said the manager. What for? said Tessa getting more agitated by the minute. Miss Spectra, is not coming down for breakfast. You are to go up to her room. But I can't let you do that until I see some form of ID. Oh for god's sake! Huffed Tessa. She got out her driving licence and showed it to him. Thank you he said smiling at her.

Tessa was not in the mood to smile back. Take the lift to... Before he had time to finish, Tessa told him she knew what floor and room number it was. And didn't need his directions. Tessa headed for the lift and pressed the button for the top floor. That's where all the suite rooms were. She stood outside the door to Sally's suite. She took a breath and knocked on the door. Come on in, shouted a voice from the other side of the door. Tessa walked in. The vision that greeted her, was Sally standing over by one of the huge windows. All she was dressed in, was some sexy underwear and a silk robe. Where is breakfast? asked Tessa looking around the suit. And couldn't see any. Sally was a bit taken aback by Tessa's stern voice. I err, was going to order it later said Sally. I was hoping, because we haven't seen one another in a while. That we'd enjoy ourselves, by having a play around first. That's why, I'm standing in front of you with all this on. Sally looked down at the underwear she was wearing.

But I can tell by the look on your face, that it was all a complete waste of time. I came here for breakfast Sally said Tessa. I wasn't prepared to have sex this morning! I have to be somewhere else by nine. Can you just order breakfast, please? Then we can sit and talk. Oh god, that sounds serious said Sally. Looks like, I had better go and change. If you don't mind said Tessa. It's less distracting if you're in clothes. Do I have a choice? asked Sally a little sad. In what? said Tessa a little distracted. Do I get a choice in putting clothes on, or taking them off? asked Sally who was watching Tessa, to see if she could work out what the problem was with her. By watching her mannerisms. Well, if you want me to stay in this room. You have to go and put clothes on said Tessa. Otherwise, I'm leaving! Why's that? Am I tempting you? said Sally teasingly. Tessa had not had sex with Sally in a while. She could of jumped on her right there and then, and taken her to the bedroom. But at the back of Tessa's mind was Mariah, standing there waiting for Tessa to devour her!

Tessa then lied to Sally and said your not tempting me. And told her again, to go and put some clothes on. Spoilsport said Sally as she walked passed her to the bedroom. Sally just went into the bedroom, took off the robe and just put some sweats over the top of the underwear. When she came back out. Tessa breathed a huge sigh of relief. She also demanded that Sally order them some breakfast. It might be quicker to go down and have some said Sally a little annoyed by Tessa's attitude. Okay said Tessa let's go. She opened the door for them both to exit, Sally's room. Going down in the lift, they just made small talk with one another. The restaurant manager remembered Tessa. Hello again, he said. A table for two? Yes please, said Sally jumping in. Could we have a table in a quiet corner, if you have such a thing? said, Tessa. He showed them to a little booth, which was out of the way. Perfect said Tessa thank you. Sally was now getting a little suspicious, about why Tessa needed a table out of the way. Once they sat down. Sally started to question, why they were out of the way. Are you ashamed of me or something? Have I done something wrong?
