She ran and ran until she found an abandoned hut in an alleyway. She ran inside soaked from the rain, she started shaking and sneezing. "Maybe I shouldn't have run away," Loona muttered.
Stolas was out in the pouring rain, calling for Loona trying to find her and bring her home. He came to the same hut that Loona had run inside of. When Stolas walked inside, he found Loona shivering and out cold on the floor. "Loona!" Stolas shouted as he bent down to pick her up.
Stolas put his hand on Loona's forehead; she was burning up with a bad fever. He had to rush back home to help Loona. Back at the mansion, Blitz was pacing back and forth in the bedroom, worried about his husband and Loona, hoping that they were okay. Octavia came into the bedroom with tears coming out of her eyes. "Papa, is Loonie gonna come home?" She asked in a quiet tone.
Blitz hugged Octavia tight, whispering sweet things into her ear to calm her down. He knew that Via was worried about her sister. The front door burst open which startled both Via and Blitz, the two of them ran to the front of the door. Blitz was relieved to see his husband at the front door with Loona in his arms. What was supposed to be a happy reunion turned into a worrying night. Stolas told Blitz that he found Loona out in an abandoned hut with a raging fever. Blitz went into full dad mode when he heard that Loona had a fever. Stolas took Loona to her bedroom as Blitz ran into the kitchen to get some medicine.
Loona drifted in and out of conscience due to her fever, not knowing where she was or who was talking to her. Everything was fuzzy and everything sounded like it was underwater. Stolas made sure that Loona was in some comfy clothes before dabbing her forehead with a wet face cloth. Blitz came running in with the medicine for Loona. Octavia wanted to go and comfort her sister, but Blitz told her that Loona needed to rest. Blitz stayed by Loona's bedside in case she woke up. He felt that he was responsible for Loona's idea of running away from home.
Loona was tossing and muttering, saying "I don't want to go." Blitz was heartbroken hearing what his daughter was muttering. Stolas had to drag Blitz out of the room just to get him to come eat. Blitz mostly picked at the food during the meal, feeling like a terrible father to Loona. Stolas put his hand on Blitz's shoulder, "Darling, you should eat something." He spoke.
"How can I eat knowing that I'm a bad father? I'm the one who suggested that we send Loona to the human world. I never should have even thought about that stupid idea." Blitz ranted.
Stolas hugged Blitz tight, "You shouldn't be too hard on yourself." Stolas said, softy. "You thought you were doing the right thing."
Blitz still felt horrible about the situation; he promised himself that things would be different from now on. Once he finished eating his meal, he went back up to Loona's room with a bowl of warm soup in his hands just for her. Loona was still asleep in her bed until Blitz decided to gently shake Loona awake. When she woke up, at first, she didn't know where she was until she saw her father sitting by her bedside. Loona turned her back against Blitz, she was still upset about what Blitz had said last night. Blitz put the bowl on the nightstand then he sat down on the bed.
He gently pulled the blanket off of Loona's face and told her that he knew that she had listened to his and Stolas's conversation last night. He told Loona that he thought that sending her to the human world would mean less judgment from the demons that bullied her in school. But now, he saw how Loona might have believed that they were sending her away because they didn't want her anymore. He then hugged Loona tightly and told her that he would never kick her out of their lives. Loona cried into her father's shoulder blurting out so many apologies. Blitz knew that she was sorry, and he was glad that she was okay.
